Do you know what the hip nudge means? Dogs will often show this behavior during a greeting. Have you ever crouched down to greet your dog, and your dog walks towards you, turns around, and nudges you gently with the hip or rear end? The nudge is friendliness, turning around means he/she does not intend to attack, and it shows he/she trusts you.

Hi everyone! Kipp the Golden Retriever and I would like to show you the Therapy Dog Dance. This is a routine our students learn during our Therapy Dog class. This is a combination of commands strung together to exercise your dog's brain, work their commands, and have fun. This was Kipp's first real run at the routine in months to a year.
