You ever just take the time to look up and say thank you God for letting me see your beauty today? I encourage you to take the time today to look up! Don't just look forward and wonder whats ahead of you or behind and think man I wish I had done that differently or boy I regret that . Look up to the one who knows your worries your struggles your strengths,and what brings you joy . Ask Him to help you focus on whats important for today to forget the past not worry about the future . Any body around us lose some cow's? Just got a call from our son he said some cow's where walking down Vail Cut off rd in front of our place blocking traffic. He managed to get them off the road they are in our back pasture now if you are missing cow's message me and identify their color and whats is on their ear would like to fund there owner asap

What an exciting day here on the farm! We finally got to milk our Jersey Annabelle. It was a learning day for all of us. Cow and humans. She was quite willing to climb into the stanchion to eat her hay and grain but was wondering what the heck her humans where doing washing her under side and squeezing her teats. she kicked a few times Knocked the bucket over pooped peed swung her tail trying to swat us away but persistent paid off. She finally settled down and ignored us. Wow what a lot of milk this little lady gives even with all that was dumped over and sq**rted on the ground ( I cant seem to always hit the bucket them there teats sq**rt sideways sometimes) or me trying to sq**rt the dam rooster who keeps walking under her we still got a half gallon of milk this morning and half gallon tonight . She is still nursing her calf to.

Hello Fall!

We are livestock people, fresh produce people in a rural area, but all farmers we desperately need for survival.- you do not have to understand us...We know that all external medicine is either waterproof, blue or yellow. We have no problem eating a sandwich directly after mucking stalls. We know why a thermometer has to have a string attached to the end. We are not welcome in Laundromats. We can lower or raise our voice instantly by 5 octaves to shout at the dog who has decided to stalk... God only knows what.. We talk to our truck to make it up the hill. We have better insurance for our ranch and animals than for our car. We know more about our farm /companion
animals' diets than our own. We buy feed & hay before buying our own food. It is common to see us wearing barn clothes in public. We know that mucking a stable is the best cure for depression. We get along better with most animals than people. We are quick to lend a hand in a crisis. A new truck is a luxury car. More written words are scribbled in the dirt than on paper. We will always make time for a friend. A hand shake is our bond.

If anyone is looking for chicks hit us up here at the farm we have about 60 new babies . There are Morans and barn yard mix. 4 each for straight run day old and 6 each for 3 week old have most of there feathers should only need light another week or so.
