Brownie (now Scarlet) and Cookie (now Luna) both went to their forever homes today! They will be so loved and spoiled. It was an honor to foster them from the very beginning. ❤️

6 weeks old!! Brownie and Cookie sure are cute 🥰 They now get the zoomies and love to explore/play.

They will start meet and greets with potential adopters this week and be attending FRR adoptions event! Come meet the entire litter at the Raleigh Night Market this Thursday 11/18 from 6-10pm. Event details can be found under FRR main page in the “Events” tab.

Freshly 5 weeks and first time outside! Finally a warm enough day! Cookie (black) was very curious and loved to explore the new surroundings and try running for the first time. Brownie was happier seeing things from the comfort of a lap.

Baklava and Tiramisu were the guests of honor at a child’s birthday party last night. They were able to meet new people in a safe and controlled environment. Our goal is to have well socialized puppies that are comfortable around any situation and that means starting young. They will continue to explore the world and meet as many new people and animals as possible in the next 4 weeks before they start heading to their new homes. Both puppies also starred in a few of TikTok video you can see in the comments.

We’re toddlers!!! These girls now have little sharp teeth and love to walk around and explore. They are slowly taking over the laundry room but I’d much rather have it as a puppy room anyway!

Cookie and Brownie were moved to a larger pen on the floor today and their (kitten) foster sister has decided this is her new favorite spot! 😻

These little sweeties, Brownie and Cookie, are beginning to open their eyes! Out of the 7 puppies, Cookie is going to be the last one to open her eyes. They are 2 weeks old and ready to see the world!❤️

The Scotland's Sweets litter came to us when 8 puppies were surrendered to Scotland County Humane Society at three days old. Unfortunately one of the puppies passed early on from pneumonia, but the remaining 7 our doing great. This year alone Freedom Ride Rescue has taken in almost 40 bottle feeders, which can be a huge financial undertaking with each puppy averaging $250 in supply costs alone. We are going through a ton of formula and potty pads, and we're going to go through kibble, treats, & toys like crazy in a few weeks! Please consider sending them something from their Amazon wish list!
