2PawsUp was started in early 2007 by a small group helping to transport animals from the Harnett County Shelter to people who wanted to adopt but could not make it to the shelter themselves. After months of this service, we expanded our services to a full adoption agency. We have been approved as a North Carolina 501c3 non-profit organization. We are a devoted team of animal-loving philanthropists with a desire to make a difference in the North Carolina community.

This week, four of our leukemia positive kittens hit the jackpot! Our friends at SPCA of Wake County transferred them into their FeLV program. This gives these guys a much better chance of finding homes, and in a shorter time frame. We love it when rescues can work together!
