We offer English lessons, Western lessons, and therapeutic riding services.

Proudly serving NC and beyond since 2003. We strive to build hope, increase self-esteem, and enhance the joy and inspiration for life in all individuals who participate in our programs. We offer a variety of able-bodied riding lessons as well as both fee-based and therapeutic riding sessions. We also have summer camps. HfH enables individuals to achieve their full potential using Equine Assisted Activities; promoting wellness, strength, and HOPE in partnership with a HORSE.

The gift certificates are valid for camps and lesson programs.

Our featured event at this year’s Fall Festival is our Riding Showcase! 🐎

We’re so excited to have our students show off what they’ve learned.

Note: While the other festival events and vendors may require tickets or payment, the Riding Showcase is free to attend. Donations are appreciated, and all donations go to the care and keeping of our horses and barn. 🙂

Riders: Please RSVP to Elisabeth if you would like to participate. Riders under 18 should have their parent or legal guardian contact Elisabeth to confirm.

ISO Horses for Care Lease – Join Our Riding Program!

We are seeking safe, sound, and well-mannered horses for a care lease to join our riding program! These horses will be given top-notch care and will have a positive impact in various activities, including:

• Western and English Riding – Walk, trot, canter
• Low-Level Jumping
• Therapeutic Riding – Providing companionship and calm support for riders in need

Ideal Horses:

• Sound for regular riding
• Comfortable in walk/trot/canter and low jumps
• Friendly, calm demeanor suitable for riders of all ages and experience levels

Horses leased to our program will be well cared for with a structured, professional routine. This is a wonderful opportunity for horses needing light to moderate work or those who thrive in a lesson environment!

We were delighted to host the Governor Morehead School yesterday! The students came and enjoyed their first therapeutic riding session. In this photo, a student is enjoying his time with Sienna.

Each of the students had the opportunity to groom horses, learn more about horseback riding and its therapeutic benefits, and ride our horses around the arena to build strength and balance! We’re excited for the students to visit again next week!

We’d also like to thank all of the volunteers who came out to support the therapeutic session, as well as the Governor Morehead School faculty. 🐎❤️
