Hello and Happy New Year!
I've talked with many of you about feeling like it was time to update my prices in 2023. Inflation is soaring and the cost just to feed my family is astronomical. I haven't changed my pricing in several years and I think I'm still one of the cheapest in the area!
All that being said, here is the new pricing effective 1/2/2023.
30 min lesson $50
1 hrs lesson $75
Package pricing will be $310- still a $65 savings off individual lessons.
Excited to kick off the new year and get everyone ready for all those spring trials!
Best to all!
Ali

"The Board reviewed and approved a recommendation to create a new title called Agility Grand Champion (AGCH). This prefix title is designed to recognize the lifetime achievement of dogs that excel across all classes in the AKC agility program. To earn the AGCH title, the following number of qualifying scores must be earned at the highest level of these classes: Standard & Jumper with Weaves – 100 each; Fast and Time 2 Beat – 75 each; Premier Standard and Premier JWW – 50 each. These qualifying scores may be earned from either the Regular or Preferred classes or a combination of both these classes. Thunderpawz Agility in the news!
When Lucas Hughes brainstormed his final community project to earn his Eagle Scout rank with Troop 365, he knew two things: he wasn’t going to build a bench, and it had to relate to dogs.

Titling opportunities in the AKC's new Premier Agility class: To earn the Premier Agility Dog (PAD), Premier Agility Dog Preferred (PADP), Premier Jumpers Dog (PJD) or Premier Jumpers Dog Preferred (PJDP) titles, a dog must earn 25 qualifying scores with five qualifying scores earned for placing in the top 25% of the dogs that competed in their jump height.

AKC Announces "Premier Agility Class": These optional titling classes are designed to challenge dogs and handlers at an increased speed and skill level above those set for the Master level classes.
Handlers/dogs will need to negotiate courses that require varied approach angles, spacing, and obstacle discriminations to be successful in these classes. These classes are offered as
separate titling tracks and are not part of the MACH/PACH Championships. The classes may be offered once per day as an additional class or classes. Clubs may, but are not required to offer Premier Standard and Premier Jumpers with Weaves on the same day.
Dogs with an AX title are eligible to enter Premier Standard Regular. Dogs with an AX or AXP title are eligible to enter Premier Standard Preferred. Dogs with an AXJ title are eligible to enter Premier Jumpers with Weaves Regular. Dogs with an AXJ or AJP title are eligible to enter Premier Jumpers with Weaves Preferred. Dogs with Regular titles may crossover to the Premier Preferred level as noted above.

At Thunderpawz Agility, we make every effort to create a productive and enjoyable dog training experience for both humans and canines using positive and motivational training methods. Realizing that not all agility teams are the same, we strive to help handlers create a training program that is custom-tailored to the needs of the team. Our broad range of experience allows us to facilitate handlers of all levels of competition by setting attainable and manageable goals. Lessons are conducted at our home-based training field. We generally plan for a lesson with one dog to be an hour long. Your dog typically will not be working the entire time, but you and your dog will come away from our lessons with a sense of accomplishment and that you learned something useful.
Every agility team is unique. Because of this, we offer concept-based training. We might use the latest copy of Clean Run or a textbook to set some plans or ideas, but your training will be personalized.
