Phineas is here to learn some manners and basic obedience. He's doing great after only a few hours. Looking forward to the next few weeks of training with this fun guy!!

Sage is doing well with her urge to eat anything with wheels. It's not perfect, but she's not ripping my arm out of the socket anymore.

Casey will be my last board for the year as I'm taking a break. I will still be doing private lessons so let me know if you need to tighten up on those manners or obedience before your family comes to visit during the holiday season.

This is a video of a short session I will typically do to keep and sharpen a dogs commands. Doesn't have to be a super long session, short and to the point. Once they know the commands one or two sessions a day will keep the dog sharp. Keeping it short and fun will keep your dog engaged. The dog in this video is Alfie, a 5 month old Sheepadoodle in his 4th week of training.

Olive goes home tomorrow and I'm going to miss this little girl. I'm happy with her progress with being in public and being able to control her fear of strangers.

This girl barked at everything she saw that she was unsure of. Now she's going everywhere I go. She's learning to cope and manage her stress without reacting to the things that scare her. She's getting tons of exposure to the world and not being coddled when she has a reaction and it's made a huge difference. She may never be a social butterfly, but her owner will be able to take her out without fear of her overreacting.

Working Ivy this morning at Lake Benson park with some distractions. Ivy did great with her recall with two little dogs pulling their owner to a tree going after a squirrel.
