WINIFRED (A417299)

Meet sweet Winifred! She's a gorgeous black beauty who weighs 46 pounds and she's heartworm negative. She was brought to our shelter after she was found walking along interstate I-95 dragging her leash.
Winifred greets you at her kennel door. She wants your attention and is willing and ready to be friends. She took treats very easily from my hand and gave kisses.
Winifred walks great on the leash. She was happy for a kennel break and enjoyed her time in the yard. She was curious about all the sights, sounds and smells. She checked out everything. Winifred loves a good game of fetch and she had a fun time while out in the yard. She is a smart, friendly girl. She has a playful side too and she likes to have fun!!
Winifred is the best girl and all she wants out of life is to have a family to love, a yard to play in and plenty of cuddles!
Please come meet this good girl, she would love to have a family to spend life with. Winifred needs out of our FULL shelter now!
She's at Cumberland County Animal Services, Fayetteville, NC 910-321-6852

Code red!!! Last call for Ace!! 🚨🚨🚨🚨
Ace is an energetic Aussie mix probably some Border collie as well. This is his video with another dog just recently. The other dog in the video is Johnny who is safe.
Ace needs a commitment by I would say at the latest the beginning of next week in order to be safe. We have a list of dogs that are very urgent. Not trying to upset anyone, but also not trying to sugarcoat it.
We are thankful that we save as many as we do, but we always want to be transparent and we want to put these dogs out there that are on a limited timeline to give them every chance possible to find a home or rescue. Ace is a great dog. If somebody had some land or there was somebody active, that had a great fenced yard. He would be perfect

BREE (A417314) video in comments

Welcome Bree. She’s a spayed, 4 year old Staffordshire who is heartworm negative. She weighs 66 pounds. She’s an owner surrender by no fault of her own.
Bree’s former owners noted that she is housebroken, knows sit and shake, and likes toys, balls, and taking walks. The previous owners noted she was not good with dogs and cats in the neighborhood. However, shelter staff noted that Bree has had meet and greets and has done great. They have not observed any of the concerns noted by her previous owners.
Bree is confused about being in the loud, full shelter. She’s ready to get back to having a home and family. Bree waits patiently to be noticed and taken outside. She was easy to leash and walks gently. She passed several kennels and stopped to sniff. Outside, she stayed close to the window and watched. Bree is looking for a forever family to love and choose her.
Bree welcomed my love and gentle back rubs. She didn’t want to be outside long. She was eager to come back inside to her kennel. She welcomed loved from all staff that she passed on her walk. Bree even passed a staff member carrying two puppies. Bree danced and wiggled her tail. She was curious about them and looked up and watched.
Bree is ready for a new beginning. Will you give her a forever home? Come visit Bree at Cumberland County Animal Services. No appointment needed. Bree is ready to be loved and cherished by you. 910 321-6852

********
About pledges: Pledges are only collected/sent to our approved rescue partners. We do this to ensure our followers money is going to reputable groups. If anyone would like to attempt to work with us, they should fill out the app on our website below. We are not your “normal” networking page. Please read the about us section for info on us.
The process on our page: We try and raise at least $700 (inflation is killing us) in pledges for each dog who is in good condition and we likely can find a foster for. If a dog is in bad condition & likely hw+ we strive for $1100 goal due to the injections & boarding for the treatment. Pull fees at the shelter are currently $35 for the vaccines shown below. We are a non-profit so we collect the pledges, subtract the pull fee and donate what's left to the rescue for whatever else they may need (further vetting, HW testing, HW treatment, transport, boarding, etc.). Pledges are for non-profit rescue partners only. Please help us help them! Pledges are ONLY for rescue orgs. partnered with us.

If you have specific questions, or are interested in a dog be sure to PM (message) us. We do not see all comments. To become one of our rescue partners, pull dogs through our organization, & receive pledges please click link below:

OTTO (A417327)
*do not honor pledge unless marked as rescued above the name.

Meet our cute little fella Otto. Don't you just love his little smile? Otto is much smaller than he looks in this close up picture. He is estimated to be about 3 years old and he's a Beagle mix. He is low heartworm positive but please don't let that stop you from adopting as they are not contagious and he can be treated.
Otto is a sweet little fella who was brought in as a stray after he was found wandering around all alone. No one came to look for him and now he needs a loving home.
Little Otto is a sweet boy and is very well behaved in and out of his kennel. He has good leash manners and he wants to please. He had a good time making friends with all the volunteers. Otto explored the yard some but he preferred to be by my side enjoying back rubs and ear scratches. He wants to be near you giving and receiving love.
Otto has a gentle and kind nature. He is friendly, happy, and well mannered. He will surely make a welcome little family member with his loving way. He is an all around great dog and he is hoping for a home. Please come adopt, he needs a home quickly our shelter is FULL!

❤️ ADOPTED ❤️

MAGGIE (A417346)

Little Miss Maggie is all smiles for the camera! Maggie is about 1 year old and weighs 31 pounds. She is currently being given extra food to help her gain a little more weight. Her heartworm test is pending.
Maggie was found wandering around Bragg Blvd. near the Aquarama pet store. Thankfully she was brought to our shelter safe and sound.
Maggie is a beautiful little sweetie pie. She is a happy girl who wags her tail and wiggles her whole body when she sees you.
Maggie greeted me at the front of her kennel for some pets. She wanted nothing more than a little extra attention and love today. She walks good on leash and she went potty right away when we out in the yard.
Maggie is a great dog who is waiting and hoping for an adopter to come pick her. She loves all people and is going to make a great furry family member if given a chance.
Maggie is ready to get back to love and cuddles with a family of her own. Please come meet her, the shelter is full.
Maggie is at Cumberland County Animal Services, Fayetteville, NC 910-321-6852
