He is home. I so hate what he has been through, but so thankful for all your prayers that helped bring him home. The mass they removed was the size of a cantaloupe, it weighed over 3 lbs. I now wait for pathology results to see if he needs further treatment. I have faith he will get past this and be his bouncy self again. The surgeon said he was an extraordinary pup, which I already knew, and his athleticism got him through the surgery. I ask once more to help him through recovery.

For those looking for an update on Scout. He just got out of surgery, which lasted for hours. They had to remove half of his liver, because the tumor was so large, it weighed over 3 lbs. They also did a gasroplexy, meaning that removing the large tumor along with half his liver, left such a large space in him that his stomach had to be tacked so he would not bloat, or his stomach twist which could be fatal. They also did exploratory and did not see any other mass. They did say his blood pressure bottomed out but they were able to bring him back. He is in ICU and is awake. The surgeon said it will probably be a roller coaster overnight. I am not allowed to go see him so he doesn’t get excited. So we will see what happens.

Please say a prayer for my Scout. Just diagnosed with a mass on his liver. I have decided to get surgery to have it removed since they think we have caught it early. He will be going to a specialist for surgery as Addisons dogs are a challenge to do surgery on. My heart is heavy, but I am trying to stay positive that it will be removed and not have to go any further with treatment. Prayers for him to be strong to get through this. Those who know him know what a sweet extraordinary pup he is.

This little guy is extraordinary. He is a minature Bernadoodle, named Gus. We just love him and his sweet attitude. He is full of personality.
