Bayleaf Veterinary Hospital was voted the best veterinarian in Raleigh by the readers of Midtown. I cannot tell those of you who voted for us how much it means to me and our team. Our clients and patients are the best! Please know that we are continually working to provide the best care possible for your fur family. With a second location, Bayleaf Veterinary Hospital at Harvest Plaza, we have doubled our hospital capacity. We will have an eighth veterinarian joining our staff in the next two weeks and hope to have a ninth starting in February. We are pleased to announce that Bayleaf now has a second location. Bayleaf Veterinary Hospital at Harvest Plaza is located at 8801 Lead Mine Rd.
( Two doors to the right of Poppyseed Market) The location will provide additional hospital space to care for our growing patient population. Doctors and staff will alternate between the two hospitals. Your pets can be seen at either location. The WWII efforts didn't only enlist the service of dogs; they also saw plenty of felines doing their duty. Like Herman here - an expert mouser for the U.S. Coast Guard.

Cats were often kept on ships to control the rodent population, which was a significant problem for sailors. These cats were trained to hunt and kill mice and rats, helping to keep the ships' food supplies safe from contamination.
