We at Falls Village Veterinary Hospital would like to say THANK YOU, to everyone that donated at our 50th Celebration!

Your donations went to Brother Wolf Animal Rescue to assist them with lending aide to animals affected by Hurricane Helene. Brother Wolf also lost everything due to the flooding, but still continue to serve their community and animals in need.

We wanted to share this thoughtful thank you letter as we know it will warm your hearts like it did ours ❤🐾🐶

With the unimaginable destruction and loss that occurred in Western North Carolina and surrounding states, finding a moment of comfort is more valuable than we realize.

One of the many hard-working teams on the ground trying to offer relief to those affected, Mountain Mule Packer Ranch has touched our hearts. This amazing organization is using the power of Mules and Horses to reach Mountain communities that have so far been unreachable and in desperate need of help and supplies.

“They call them beasts of burden, we call them our beloved mules. They are capable and willing to work in many conditions most won’t. They are not stubborn…they are wise, and require respect."

If you would like to learn more or on how to help their cause, please visit their page for more information and updates on their incredible journey ahead 🫏🐴

This lady and her husband had just made it down the mountain and her heart needed some mule love. She said it was the first time she had cried. What Apache did for this woman in just allowing her to release those pent up emotions, is something no human could have provided! ❤️🇺🇸

The Norman Family
“I moved to Wake Forest in 1989, with 2 cats and no veterinarian! The Hodges family recommended Dr. Brink, and the rest is a long and wonderful history! Dr. Brink cared for my 2 cats, Milo and Oscar and then our first family dog, an English chocolate lab named Comet. At this time, these were the only babies.
Dr. Brink quickly became family, saw my first daughter Kayla as a baby, and as she grew, always took the time to talk to her and treat her like family when Comet would come in for visits. As the years passed, along came Emily and the exam rooms became more crowded. Dr. Brink saw us through Comet's cancer diagnosis and made sure we were educated and loved, and welcomed our first rescue, Franklin, into our FV family! The card we received from Dr. Brink after Comet's passing is still with me today.
Then came rescue #2 Buddy! Never a dull moment for Dr. Brink and our tripod. We cannot overlook that my parents brought their 2 dogs, Jack and Willie, to see Dr.Brink for the summers they spent in Wake Forest for 15 years. Dr. Brink took care of our Franklin and Buddy until they were 14 and 13...saw my girls grow up as my dogs got older...Along came rescue #3 in 2020, and Hazel continued the tradition of becoming another one of Dr. Brinks' babies. Kayla went off to college, got her very own rescue, Honey, who became dog # 7 on our Falls Village account!!
Today, the Norman account is smaller with just Hazel..but the FV family took on another parenting role as Emily began her job there as a Veterinary Assistant. Dr. Brink has known Emily since she was born, and has become mentor as Emily pursues her veterinary medicine dream at NCSU.
I lost count...26 years? Two cats, seven dogs, two kids... laughter, tears, support and hugs. Falls Village is a part of our family forever!
Lisa. Kayla, Emily”

It is one of our greatest pleasures to assist with the growth and development of the next generation of Veterinary Medical Professionals. And we are excited in being able to assist Emily in achieving her dream ❤🐾

This weeks Client Spotlight, please meet.....

The Striegel Family
“We first came to Falls Village Vet in the beginning of the year 2000! Moving from California with two dogs and a cat, and we quickly needed boarding until we could move into our house! Friends and new neighbors said “You must go to Falls Village Vets!” And we’ve been there ever since! Spunky, our California cat, loved to climb to the top of all things whether it was upper shelves in the exam room or doing his best to climb on Julie’s shoulders, then her head! He lived a long and wonderful life, keeping several dogs in his tow! Riley joined later, and though he lost a leg due to an accident, he too, was the master of the house and trained a few dogs himself!
Our dogs are all rescues, but we truly believe they rescued us! Falls Village Veterinary Hospital, especially Drs Green and Brink, have been with us every step of the way. Thank you to ALL the staff, who have loved us and our pets for almost 25 years!
Love,
Janet and Scott Striegel
Fozzie, Maizy, Maggie, Molly, Tucker, Bear, Riley (cat), and Spunky (I could not find a good picture of him!)”

We would love to hear about your furry family and any stories you would like to share! Please email [email protected] and add "Client Spotlight" into the header 🐾🐶🐱❤

Falls Village is proud to work with several amazing individuals and organizations who are trying to improve not only our lives, but our pets lives as well.

One of these special individuals is Renee Clifton who runs "Ambassador Dog Training." Renee personally assisted with Oakley's training, who is proudly serving the Franklin County EMS Department, as a therapy dog for their hardworking first responders. Renee is also assisting with the Sheriffs Department in bringing along their very own named Toby!

Join Us in Celebrating 50 Years of Caring for Your Pets! 🎉🐾

Dear Falls Village Family,

We are thrilled to announce a milestone that would not have been possible without you—our 50th anniversary! For five decades, we have been honored to care for your beloved pets, and we want to celebrate this special occasion with the community that has supported us every step of the way.

Date: Saturday, October 12
Time: 2:00pm - 5:00pm
Location: Falls Village Veterinary Hospital

Please join us for a day of celebration, fun activities, refreshments, and a chance to connect with fellow pet lovers. Whether you’ve been with us for years or are new to our clinic, we’d love to have you there!

To help us plan with our caterer, please RSVP by September 4 so we may give them a rough head count. Please call our hospital and tell any of our team members if you plan on attending, how many will be with you, and if any children will accompany.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. We look forward to celebrating with you. Friends and families are welcome. Due to safety reasons, please leave your furry friends at home due to concerns of crowd size and busy streets.

Warm regards,
Falls Village Veterinary Hospital
