Hi I’m Sage, and despite life’s twists and turns, I’m here to steal your heart and fill your home with love. My back legs might be paralyzed, but my spirit is anything but!

I’m a social butterfly with a heart as big as my determination. I’ve never met a person or dog I didn’t love, and I’m even cat-safe – that’s right, I’m the whole package! Toys, treats, and chewies are my absolute favorites, and I can’t resist a good video of dogs barking or some quality TV time.

Currently, I’m gearing up for a slow kill heartworm treatment, followed by getting spayed and then I will be ready to settle into my loving furever home! I am a “diaper dog,” and with a solid routine, I stay tidy and ready for all the adventures life throws my way.

Speaking of routines, once you’ve got one down, I’m a breeze to take care of. Hi there! My name is Truffles, and I’m a rescue beagle looking for my forever home. I had a rough start, coming to TBR from the Granville County Animal Shelter while pregnant with my eight little mushroom themed puppies. Now that my momma duties are over, I’m almost ready to start the next chapter of my life—I’m just waiting on my spay day.

I’ve been through Dog Training Camp, USA to learn how to be the bestest good girl ever. I absolutely adore snuggles, whether it’s with humans or other doggos, and I love lounging on soft doggie beds. My favorite pastime is running around in a fenced yard with my three foster siblings.

However, there are a few things I’m not too fond of. I don’t like being alone, and loud noises can startle me. That’s why I think I’d do best in a home with no kids or older kids who understand my boundaries. Leashes still make me a bit nervous, but I’m getting better with them.

My foster family has been keeping an eye on me because I had a random seizure while in their care, thankfully, there haven’t been any more. I may be a bit hesitant with doors and the dark, but I’m working on overcoming my phobias. I am completely housebroken and have never had an accident. Plus, I’ve recently discovered treats, and let me tell you, I absolutely love them! With a patient and loving family, I know I can thrive and be the loyal companion you’ve been searching for.

But don't let my past fool you; I'm far from the outdoorsy, barking type you might expect. My foster mom marvels at how quiet I am for a beagle. That's right—I'm the strong, silent type. I've been blessed with a sweet, gentle nature and an affectionate heart. I adore people of all ages, including kids, and get along famously with other dogs. My love knows no bounds, and I dream of a family that shares this boundless capacity for affection. One of my most endearing qualities? My love for food. Mealtimes are my favorite times, and I've been known to keep the kitchen floors spotless, just in case any crumbs dare to escape.

But worry not; I'm no troublemaker. My foster mom has diligently worked with me on crate training and leash manners, and I'm proud to say I excel at both. I sleep peacefully in my crate all night and walk like a gentleman on a leash, always curious but never pulling, as we explore the world one sniff at a time. While I may enjoy the occasional outdoor adventure, my heart truly belongs indoors, being part of a loving family. I came to the rescue with 49 of my beagle pals from a breeding facility in Cumberland, VA. Yep, that's right, I'm an Envigo Survivor. I was adopted and returned recently when my owner could no longer care for me.

Now, I'll be honest with you – I've got a bit of an attitude. But hey, who doesn't, right? I spent some time with a trainer a Dog Training Camp USA and they say that I need a family who won't let me get away with my shenanigan. My ideal home? One without any kids and where I can be the only dog.

But don't let that put you off. Underneath this tough exterior, I'm a real sweetheart. I've been making strides every single day. I'm getting the hang of this whole potty training thing, and I'm not afraid to let you know when I need to go out – just watch me walk to the door!

I'm a playful pup by nature. I love mingling with cats and other dogs during our walks, and I handle that leash like a pro. Sure, I'm still learning to play, and loud noises can startle me, but I'm getting better every day.

Doors used to scare me, can you believe it? But not anymore. I'm building up my confidence bit by bit. And boy, am I smart! I'm soaking up all the love and affection you can give me.

I'd thrive in a home with a fenced backyard, you know, for exploring. Oh, and let me tell you about my favorite treats – sweet potato chicken wraps. Yum!

When I'm not munching on those, I'm having a blast with my rope toy or my tennis balls. I've even got these cute little elephant and lamb dolls that I adore. And let's not forget belly rubs – I'm a sucker for those.

Hi there, folks! My name’s Murphy, and I’ve been on quite the journey. You see, I’m a rescue beagle, and let me tell you, life hasn’t always been easy for me. But despite my timid nature around people, I’m still hopeful that I’ll find my forever home.

I’ve had my fair share of experiences with different shelters and rescue organizations. Mecklenburg County Animal Control found me as a stray, wandering the streets all alone. It was a scary time for me, but thankfully, Rainbow Rescue took me in. From there, I ended up at Halifax Dog Rescue before finally making my way to TBR.

Now, I’m currently with a foster family who understands me. They’ve welcomed me into their pack, and although I’m still a bit shy around them, I’m starting to come out of my shell. When they leave the house, I’ll venture out of my cozy bed and play with the toys they’ve given me. It’s my little way of feeling comfortable and safe while they’re away.

Oh, and let me tell you about treats! I’m quite particular about them. I’ll only take a treat from their hand if it’s a real hotdog. None of that fake stuff for me! But once I trust you enough, I might just surprise you with how quickly I’ll warm up to you.

What I really need is a quiet household where I can feel secure and loved. Loud noises and busy environments tend to make me anxious, so a calm and patient family would be perfect for me.

Hi, I’m Freddy! I was recently found as a stray and taken to the Caswell Co. shelter. Some people think being a stray is sad, but it turned out to be very lucky for me because I got to become a lucky TriBeagle (TBR) Beagle!

I can’t tell you about my life before but I can tell you that I’ve hit the jackpot in my foster home! My foster mom says I’m the cutest little beagle boy whose tail never stops wagging. My foster mom also says that I’m a very good boy. I’m quickly learning the rules of living life in a cozy, comfy home. I have another beagle to play with and to show me the ropes of learning to go up and down stairs and walk on a leash. These things were new to me until now! I also get two yummy meals a day and treats in between! I even get a treat for being a good boy for using the bathroom outside.

I’m an inquisitive little guy and am enjoying exploring in my foster home and when I’m outside I do what my foster mom says is a cute little snorting sound when I’m on the trail of a scent.

I’m told that the perfect, forever family is out there, just waiting to find me. I’m looking forward to hopefully having a canine buddy to play with, a fenced-in yard to explore, or an active family who will take me on plenty of walks and be patient as I learn this business of ‘walking on a leash’. My foster mom says my forever family will be very lucky to get to adopt me.

A brave beagle mom gave birth alone beside a busy road in Louisiana. She was discovered by a good Samaritan, tucked in a discarded grape box with her tiny pups. A rescuer from K9 Rouge Rescue reached out to us with an urgent call for help, and we immediately agreed to help. Seven volunteers coordinated transport, and a travel date was set. After a brief stay in a temporary Louisiana foster home, Sweet Jubilee and her pups—Moon Drop, Pinot, Shiraz, and Cotton Candy—embarked on the journey of a lifetime. Now safe in our care, they have a bright future ahead of them.
