Puppies of the Day: Coral, Rip, Reef and Dune

These four adorable beagle mix puppies from Summer’s litter are still looking for their future families. Born June 12 in a shelter in Kentucky, they’ll be five weeks old this Thursday and are already thriving. Playful, spunky, and full of personality, they’ll be ready to go home around August 7 after they charm everyone at our upcoming yoga event.

Mama Summer isn’t a full beagle but she has a beagle personality and weighs about 28 pounds. Dad is unknown, but all six puppies in the litter are soft, fluffy, and sweet as can be. They love to snuggle, give kisses when you pick them up, and yes — they all know how to howl like beagles.

Coral, Rip, Reef and Dune are just as cute in person as they are in pictures.

I’m a social butterfly with a heart as big as my determination. I’ve never met a person or dog I didn’t love, and I’m even cat-safe – that’s right, I’m the whole package! Toys, treats, and chewies are my absolute favorites, and I can’t resist a good video of dogs barking or some quality TV time.

Currently, I’m gearing up for a slow kill heartworm treatment, followed by getting spayed and then I will be ready to settle into my loving furever home! I am a “diaper dog,” and with a solid routine, I stay tidy and ready for all the adventures life throws my way.

Hi there! My name is Truffles, and I’m a rescue beagle looking for my forever home. I had a rough start, coming to TBR from the Granville County Animal Shelter while pregnant with my eight little mushroom themed puppies. Now that my momma duties are over, I’m almost ready to start the next chapter of my life—I’m just waiting on my spay day.

I’ve been through Dog Training Camp, USA to learn how to be the bestest good girl ever. I absolutely adore snuggles, whether it’s with humans or other doggos, and I love lounging on soft doggie beds. My favorite pastime is running around in a fenced yard with my three foster siblings.

However, there are a few things I’m not too fond of. I don’t like being alone, and loud noises can startle me. That’s why I think I’d do best in a home with no kids or older kids who understand my boundaries. Leashes still make me a bit nervous, but I’m getting better with them.

My foster family has been keeping an eye on me because I had a random seizure while in their care, thankfully, there haven’t been any more. I may be a bit hesitant with doors and the dark, but I’m working on overcoming my phobias. I am completely housebroken and have never had an accident. Plus, I’ve recently discovered treats, and let me tell you, I absolutely love them! With a patient and loving family, I know I can thrive and be the loyal companion you’ve been searching for.
