Rescue For Earth Angels This community has been created to help provide supplies, medical care, adoption, etc for totally ab They did not have any shelter of any kind.

On January 18, 2016, in very rural Sampson County, Smokey & Bella were discovered totally abandoned by their owners and left all alone down a dirt path. They are believed to be lab/hound mixed and at least 6 months or older. Just prior to the winter storm that just hit NC, Tracey Stephenson built some shelter on the small porch next to the mobile home where they have been abandoned. They now h

ave some shelter, a little pool with a heat light to help keep them from freezing. Tracey lives near these 2 precious beings needing love, care and a home. She is feeding them and checking on them. We are making arrangements to have Bella spayed asap to prevent a litter of abandoned pups. Bella is extremely timid and submissively sweet. Smokey is curious and affectionate. They need a place to call home and caring parents whom realize that animals are not objects and property or something thing, they are some one and not disposable.

501c3 Rescue Only - Fearful behavior in shelter.

This gentle giant, Miles, our handsome Pyrenees, is still here at the shelter holding onto hope. He has had very little interest from rescues, and the few who have reached out, never followed through. Now time is running extremely short, and he desperately needs a rescue commitment.

Pyrenees experience is a must with this guy. If you know the breed, you know what we mean. Miles only wants to be outside, left alone, to do what he does best...work and watch. He will need land and someone who can provide stimulation needed for the Pyrenees breed.

Meet Anastasia, she is available for adoption at the WakeGov Pets: Wake County Animal Center. She originally came in as a stray with another dog, a female Pyrenees.

PS: Wake County does not cat test dogs and minors under 18 are not allowed in the facility so we do not know about children.

Meet Rumbles a 2 yr old German shepherd mix! Rumbles came in with a skin condition and has been at the shelter for a little while, and they have been helping him get better and he is now ready for his forever home. He is a medical adoption, which means you will just need to continue that care for him and if you need more information on that, please call the Shelter.
He is 72 pounds and he is heartworm negative
Staff I said that he is a flight risk meaning he will try to probably get away to find his previous owners maybe
He does not mind other dogs. They even said it’s probably better for him to be around other dogs, of course with slow introductions as with any new dog.

Staff did say he is a wonderful dog. He is going to make someone a wonderful dog with a little love and patience.
He also has a couple of videos that we will put in the comments please share in hopes to find this sweet boy a forever home

He is now available for adoption. He is heartworm negative and also he is 65 pounds.

URGENT LAST DAY 9/2/25
Look at these adorable 13 week old puppies that are now ready to be adopted and healthy. They are Lab/Beagle mix according to the owners. We need dogs to get adopted. Please come to meet them today. We are trying to post all of our dogs available and this is all very urgent the shelters at capacity.

Our Parvo Pups who have been out on foster, are now back with us, happy and healthy! All four little fighters survived and are now ready for their forever families! ❤️

Meet Janie a sweet 11 yr old senior female German Shepherd mix! When I saw her posted on the Shelter page today, my heart Sank, I do not know why she was surrendered yet but just thinking about her in a loud scary shelter at this age is absolutely heartbreaking! She is a medical adoption. We do not know all the circumstances she had but you can call the shelter for more answers. I’m sure it is all Moore that she is a senior with senior aches and pains.! She just needs a home where she can live out the rest of her days in a warm cozy bed please someone come tomorrow to meet this sweet girl. The Shelter is open from 930 to 3.
She is heartworm positive and has been treated by the shelter, but she will need continued treatment
