Happy to all the Orson Freaks!

Orson has been so good recently that when I broke all my dremel bits making a grave stone for Robin, Orson was the chosen dog for the outing. Would you believe we ran into a fan?! He was so excited!

Orson doesnā€™t get to go out in public as much as Jaqweenie because he is a bit of a wildcard. He is rather ableist and barks at anyone who looks different. Please see the last slide for evidence of his embarrassing antics. The poor lady was trying to go for a walk with a cane and Orson said ā€œnot today Satan!ā€ At least heā€™s trying his best. He just canā€™t stop Borsoning!

The past two years everyone in the family, dogs included, have gotten their flu shots except Kirby and everyone avoided getting the flu except for Kirby. So this year we escorted Kirby to get his flu shot.

He was and took it like a champ! šŸ’Ŗ

Iā€™ve noticed that the antivax movement is spreading to dog owners. As pet owners itā€™s our responsibility to keep them safe. My dogs receive Rabies, DHPP, Flu, Leptospirosis, and Bordetella vaccines. I consider them all to be core vaccines for dogs who regularly interact with other dogs.

If your dog doesnā€™t interact with other dogs and isnā€™t boarded or groomed you may be able to skip the flu and Bordetella but obviously talk to your vet.

He looks how I feel. My insomnia has been pretty bad since Fabioā€™s death. I miss him so much. It started seeming like it was getting a little better and then Robinā€™s death put me right back to square one.

I wrote on a previous post that I hoped I would toughen up soon, and a follower rightfully pointed out that if I wasnā€™t so sensitive I wouldnā€™t feel compelled to save all the dogs. So I suppose Iā€™ll just continue feeling all the feelings even if it sucks. šŸ˜•

Sweet Orson continues to be excluded from playing with Jaqweenie and our foster dogs Vanilla and Batman. But we had some kiddo visitors which really made his day. Orson is obsessed with children.

Batmanā€™s adoption is scheduled for next Saturday. Vanilla the 1 year old Beagle mix is still looking for a home. We learned sheā€™s good with kids! She had the best time playing ball with this kid!

Heā€™s long and heā€™s strong! Jaqweenie loves playing with our foster dogs Vanilla and Batman. Itā€™s really sad but they donā€™t usually let Orson play with them. He tries but heā€™s always on the outside looking in. šŸ˜­

They do let Orson do zoomies with them outside sometimes at least!

Normally I try to get permission before posting peopleā€™s faces on this app, but Iā€™m going to have to beg for forgiveness because this lady admiring Orson is too cute not to share. Also, how precious is Orson running into his friend in the third picture?!

Orson had the best time at ā€™s market. He did sit in an ant hill but I think I was bitten more than he was when I tried to save him. He was absolutely covered with ants. Check out my battle wounds in the last picture.

Iā€™m pretty sure Orson knows where chicken comes from. He absolutely lost his s**t when he saw this chicken running around.
