Jaqweenie continues to battle the great nose bump of 2025. I know that thousands of prayer warriors have mobilized to help Jaqweenie fight this, but it’s looking like we’ll need more help! I’m hoping researchers will divert their already scant resources (thanks Trump) to study the treatment and prevention of nose bumps.

Jaqweenie has been during this difficult time and patiently lets me apply his ointment twice a day like a good boy. The swelling has gone down a bit so I’m hopeful he will have a full recovery.

I’m hoping this is one of those situations where it looks worse before it looks better. I’ve sent a picture to the vet. I’ll let you know what she says.

Happy Juneteenth!! Initially I was concerned that it was a one tooth day, meaning we should be more cautious, but luckily Fabio’s second tooth made an appearance so it’s safe to punch a racist in the 🍆 today!

Like John Lewis said- “Speak up, speak out, get in the way. Get in good trouble, necessary trouble, and help redeem the soul of America.”
