You know whatās worse than the poke? Watching your child diā¬ of a preventable illness.
The DTaP, MMR, polio, & chickenpox vaccines are essential because they protect children from serious, sometimes life-threatening diseases that used to be common.
ā¢ DTaP guards against diphtheria, teta**s, & whooping cough- all of which can cause severe illness such as breathing problems, seizures, brain damage or even dā¬ath.
ā¢ MMR protects against measles, mumps, and rubella- diseases that can lead to pneumonia, brain inflammation, blindness, hearing loss, & dā¬ath.
ā¢ Polio vaccine prevents a terrifying virus that once caused paralysis & dā¬ath in thousands of children every year.
ā¢ Chickenpox vaccine helps prevent painful rashes, scarring, pneumonia, & dangerous infections.
The risk of severe side effects from vaccines is less than 0.001%, while the risk of severe illness, complications, or dā¬ath from the diseases ranges from 1% to 30%. Vaccines are dramatically safer than the diseases they prevent.
We are incredibly lucky to live in a time in which these vaccines are available to keep our children healthy and alive. As a parent your main job is to keep your child safe. It is abhorrent to skip these lifesaving vaccines because of errant personal beliefs. The risks of side effects are extremely low, but the risks of not vaccinating are catastrophic.
Florida lawmakers removing vaccine mandates is unconscionable and will k!ll children. I realize that a dog content creator giving advice on vaccines is completely absurd, but at this point, it doesnāt seem like we can trust the CDC with RFK Junior actively sabotaging it so here we are. š¤·
