Mood: Trying to feel festive while also still feeling like you want to 🔥 it all down. Sleigh the Patriarchy this holiday season.

I was on the verge of taking down all of the political + social cause items when I got two orders the day after the election from dog moms in Florida and Georgia who weren't calling it quits. Thank you for helping me rally.

A few new items have been added while I determine where to donate a portion of proceeds moving forward. Because we still need to find a new way forward.

It was super foggy on our walk this morning, but the fall colors still had their moment. In my sleepy haze, I couldn't help but get existential about it being a reminder that even in uncertainty, there is change and hope. Like the leaves shedding to make way for new growth, election day offers a chance to step through the fog to find A New Way Forward.

Only four tongue-out Tuesdays remain until Election Day. In the midst of apocalyptic storms, international conflict and general instability, it's never been more important to exercise your right to vote. Our only hope for moving forward as a country is voting Kamala Harris and Tim Walz into office in 4 weeks. We simply cannot afford not to. Here in North Carolina, the state and local elections are just as critical.

So research your candidates, know your deadlines and voting requirements and go .

My day job with not only supports an aggressive sewing hobby and Piper's lavish lifestyle, but allows me to work for an organization that makes communities stronger. We are currently collecting donations across our 23 locations to distribute to our friends and neighbors in Western North Carolina.

Before Minnesota Dad was added to the ticket, we launched the OG Dogs for Harris bandana (swipe!) to record sales. I've since had a few requests for the art from the camo bandana to be used in white on the blue.

Oct. 11: Voter Registration Deadline
Oct. 17: In-Person Early Voting Begins
Oct. 29: Absentee Ballot Request Deadline
Nov. 5: Election Day *

*Voters will be asked to show photo ID when voting in North Carolina. If you do not have a driver’s license, you can get a free voter ID from your county board of elections. You are still allowed to vote without an ID by filling out an ID Exception Form.

Hey furiends, I need to put the shop on pause for a few days, but we'll be back in plenty of time to keep wagging the vote and rallying the Dogs for Harris!
