Before we get into this week’s updates, here are some tips for caring for your sourdough bread:

🍞 Sourdough Care Tips:
• Best enjoyed within 3–5 days since my bread has no preservatives.
• Store it on the counter in the bag you bought it in.
• Freezing: You can slice it first and freeze it, breaking off chunks as needed, or freeze it whole. It thaws beautifully, and you’d never know it was frozen!
• To thaw a whole frozen loaf: Take it out of the freezer and let it thaw at room temperature. Once thawed, preheat your oven to 350°F (or 325°F convection), run the loaf under water to wet the crust, and heat it for 15–20 minutes until the crust is crunchy again.
• Refrigerating: You can refrigerate it if you’re planning to toast it, as it works well for that. Otherwise, the fridge can dry it out unless you’re making grilled cheese, French toast, or sandwiches with extra mayo.
