From a simple nail clip to doggie spa pampering, we do it all! Kathy's Country Pets is known for its exquisite sc******ng to bring out the beauty in your pet. Every wash includes a bath, a**l glands expressed, ears cleaned, toe nails

trimmed, pads of feet trimmed, complete blow out and brush, and excess hair removal. A cute scarf or bow is offered free with every bath. Cologne or conditioning mist can also be added free of charge. Our store front offers a myriad of supplies for every pet connoisseur. From books on your pet, to clothing, to specialty supplies Kathy's Country Pets tries to offer something for everyone. We are known for hard to find supplies. As available, Kathy's Pets also has many pets for sale, from hamsters, to mice, to fish, to snakes, and some different species of lizard. Fish food, specialty dog and cat treats, worms, rodent, pinkies and fuzzies are usually available for purchase as are most sizes of mice. Fish aquariums, reptile homes, hamster enclosures, and bird cages are all available for purchase. Come in and see all that we have to offer!

Want to learn more about any animals? We will teach you our 40 years of knowledge!
Minimum wage to start and you will have a three day trial period to make sure this is what you actually want to do.
Normal hours will be 9am to 2pm Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Kathy is currently getting eye surgery so please bear with us if it is a bit difficult to book an appointment as we will not be doing any grooming(shaving) dogs the 26th through the 29th and LIMITED appointments the week after. BUT we will be doing simple baths (including nails, ears and A**l glands) on any days we are open. The shop WILL be open normal hours for any of your pets needs. Thank you for your patience with us 💙🐈🐩

We know… you see a cute dog that’s shaking their b***y, giving you those puppy dog eyes and is allll smiles. It’s like they’re begging you to pet them and give them loves, and sometimes, they are. 🐶

However, it’s important that we ALWAYS ask permission before petting a dog. This is for a multitude of reasons including but not limited to the dog being in training, a service animal, doesn’t like being pet by strangers etc. Regardless of the reason, it’s important we respect the animal, the owners and their space. It’s also important that we RESPECT THE DECISION and listen if we’re told no. 🐾

We just wanted to clear some things up, and what’s better proof than photos?

Yes we use dawn, but only on breeds classified as ‘greasy’ then we wash them with a dog specific shampoo containing oatmeal or aloe after. Other dogs get normal doggy shampoo.
No they were not maggots, they were moth larvae and they came in on a new bag of treats. Which is taken care of. Yes we said freeze the treats, because it will kill the moth larvae. No we do not sell them after, we take them home and use them for our pets or mice.
The place being smelly? We sell Guinea pigs, hamsters, and mice. They get cleaned daily, but sometimes the smell doesn’t go away after we take out the trash.
All of our mice are NOT stuck into one cage. If we have too many mice, we set up another tank for them. We even took a photo of one of the cages to show they’re not full. They also don’t stay in a bedroom, and never did so we don’t know where that came from..
