Sweet corn season is here! I know it’s tempting to let your dogs chew on the cobs when you get done with them. But please resist the temptation!! it is never a good idea, no matter how many times you’ve done it before or how bad the dog wants it! Corn cobs can only be digested by ruminants! Dogs do not have the capability to digest them. They are a huge risk to plug up your dog’s digestive system. They can cause them to become very ill, and sometimes to need surgery to relieve the obstruction. Save yourself some heartache and some money and don’t let your dog have corn cobs!!

These male pups were bred by Linda Bell of Georgetown, Texas. One is available and she is keeping the other, both are so great that she's having trouble deciding which one to keep. Dam is Jilee (WTCH Gwangi's Hajiilee At Winslide PATDcs RTDcs AFTDcsdm) who was High Combined Open Stockdog at the 2018 ASCA Nationals and sire, from stored frozen semen, is Winslow (HOF WTCH HTCH Twin Oaks Winslow Breeze PATDcs RTDcs JS-N RS-N CDX RV-O
HRD IIIs HTD IIIsd HXAsd DNA-VP) who was ASCA 2004 National Finals Sheep Champion, National Finals Duck Champion, 3rd place in Cattle, and High Combined Stockdog. ASCA 2005 National Finals Cattle Champion.

My keeper, Gwangi's Slim Pickens. She is named after the Rodeo Hall of Fame Bullfighter, who also acted in many (mostly Western) films including alongside Jay Sisler and his Aussies in "Stubs, the Best Cowdog in the West."

Centex Working ASA Stockdog Arena and Farm Trials, Flatonia, TX, March 23-25, 2018:
Jilee far exceeded my expectations this trialing weekend! Friday she finished her Advanced Farm Trial Sheep dog title with a win, and earned the 1st leg of her Advanced Farm Trial Cattle dog title. On Sat, she won all 6 classes, posting two duck scores of 116 and 118! All her scores were over 100! She was rockin! in all her classes! Both of those trials earned her a High in Trial Aussie Award. On Sun. She again was super consistent, winning 4 of her 6 classes with very high scores again and another High in Trial Aussie Award! Super proud of my girl!!!
