Meet our newest H.E.L.P. dog, Pebbles! Pebbles was surrendered to the shelter by the daughter of elderly parents who could no longer care for her. Pebbles is 16-years old and weighs just 3.5-lbs, and she went straight to our vet for a full senior work up. So far we know she has limited vision and doesn’t hear well. She also has generalized alopecia and a hernia on either side of her anus. We will do everything we can to ensure that Pebbles lives the rest of her life feeling safe and surrounded by nothing but love. We love her so much already. 🩷

Josephine loves her rope toys and she will keep herself endlessly entertained. She’s a super smart girl who learns quickly and strives to meet your expectations. Josie is house-trained, slept through the fireworks on the 4th (didn’t even bat an eye) and is a dream in the car. Josie needs a home with an active lifestyle, a yard for sunbathing, and no children.

Meet our newest H.E.L.P. dog, Mitzi (fka Mochi)! Mitzi was in Harbor Shelter with a skin condition so we whisked her straight to our vet for a full work up. Sadly, she’s already been in the shelter several times though she’s only 2 years old. Itsy bitsy Mitzi weighs 6-lbs and is beyond adorable. She’s deliciously squishy and super affectionate and we can’t get enough of her. Mitzi will be available for adoption soon. 💕

Hello from fabulous Finley! Finley is a quirky senior gent who craves companionship and always wants to be near you. The only thing he loves as much as he loves his person is food - this boy loves to eat! Finley has a very sweet nature and gets along with other dogs and children. Finley does have CHF which causes him to have occasional hypoxia (seizure-like) episodes and requires regular medication. If you’re looking for a scruffy little bestie, Finley may be the one for you.

So much cuteness in one little dog! Our scruffilicious senior Celeste is pure sweetness and a total snuggle bug. She wants to sleep on the bed with you every night, and cuddle on the couch during the day. She’ll also be your little blonde shadow, and if you work from home she will likely nap next to your feet while you work. She loves other dogs, gets along with cats and has a playful side. Everyone who meets her falls in love and so will you!
