H.E.L.P. is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization providing financial assistance for shelter animals. is dedicated to saving sick, injured and elderly L.A.

City shelter animals - those that remain behind in their cages while others find homes, those with little chance of rescue or adoption. We assist those who choose to adopt these pets in need, knowing that there are medical challenges, by paying an agreed upon percentage of the veterinary costs necessary to care for their new family members. In cases where there is no other option and the dog or ca

t would be euthanized at the shelter, H.E.L.P. rescues the animal and arranges for medical treatment and foster care. We also have an intervention/outreach program which offers guidance and services to the public when they have nowhere else to turn.

Mr. Darcy is the happiest and sweetest little guy! He’s so well-behaved and good natured and he loves to give kisses. He enjoys walks and car rides, lots of treats and snuggles in bed. He also loves his toys and play time. He’s a fun little treasure, and he can be yours. 💕

Update on our endearing Jean Claude, who has been hospitalized since we pulled him from the shelter along with his bff Coquette. His bloodwork/labs and x-rays were surprisingly normal, though he does have low thyroid and is sight impaired. Our vet also believes Jean Claude has some dementia which we will be treating with medication. We are looking for a foster home with no other dogs or a home where he can be kept separate temporarily so we can be sure he has no lingering uri. He is just the sweetest little guy and we adore him. 💕

Update on our sweet angel Coquette, who has been hospitalized with our vet since leaving the shelter. Coquette has aspirate pneumonia, anemia and is in kidney failure. She also has a large bladder stone and dental disease. Coquette is receiving fluids twice a day and antibiotics, and we’re happy for the good news that she has started eating on her own. She is a tough little cookie and a fighter, and we are going to fight with her. Please keep Coquette in your prayers 🙏 and if you would like to donate toward her medical care, we would greatly appreciate it. 💕

If you’re looking for a senior who is easygoing and easy to love, look no further than Milky Way. This dapper little dude is one of the easiest dogs ever. He’s quiet and good-natured, and gets along well with other dogs, cats and kids. His vision is limited but he gets around fine and enjoys slow walks and sunbathing. He also loves to nap and is quite the foodie. Milky Way is house-trained, rides nicely in the car and is definitely best friend material. 💕 And did we mention he’s super easy?

Happy Monday from Miss Pattycakes! This darling girl wants nothing more than to bask in your love and affection. She enjoys going on exploratory walks (despite her blindness she gets around great) and visits to the park. Pattycakes has a gentle and loving demeanor, and she gets along with everyone she meets, both two-legged and four-legged. She’s a treasure beyond measure and we adore her. 🩷

Happy Sunday from Ollie! This charming little senior is a spirited long-legged gent with all kinds of pep in his step. Ollie is gentle and kind and all things good. He’s 18-years young and only 8-lbs and just the right size to carry and cuddle. We are obsessed. 💕
