Rescue Express (501c3 nonprofit) saves THOUSANDS of shelter animals each year with our nation's largest animal transport for rescue partners in the Western US & Canada. Rescue Express transports thousands of homeless animals annually from overpopulated areas and high-kill shelters in California to receiving organizations and adopters in the Pacific Northwest and Canada who find them forever homes.

All transports are offered free of charge to approved rescue partners, therefore Rescue Express relies upon the generosity of public contributions in order to provide this free life-saving service. Our fleet includes three 40-foot school buses that have been converted and outfitted to safely and humanely transport upwards of 200 animals on each trip. Five carrier sizes are offered to allow all breed sizes and litters of puppies and kittens to ride comfortably on their journey to freedom.
