You won't find a fancier cat than Tuxedo! 🍸

This sophisticated 6-month-old tuxedo coated kitty exudes an elegant aura. She moves about with refined grace and enjoys the finest head scratches in life. Of course, she gets a little goofy when the feather toy comes out, but we all have our indulgences. 🍨

Tuxedo would be charmed to meet you at Helen Woodward Animal Center. She's receiving visitors from 10 AM to 6 PM, Thursday through Monday.

These are only a few of the Veterinary Technicians that we have at the Center, but we are grateful for the care every single one of them provides our rescue pets and our Companion Animal Hospital PAWtients. Happy 🐶😻

Angel joined Helen Woodward Animal Center PR Director Jessica Gercke on K**I to talk all about and how important it is to make sure your pet's pearly whites are getting the proper care.

While at-home teeth brushing can help, it may be time for your pet to get a dental. Visit www.animalcenter.org/companion-animal-hospital or give us a call at 858-756-4469 so we can set up a time to get those chompers checked out!

You've never met a dog like Tink. She's the best fairy of them all. This 9-month-old Labrador Retriever blend will change your world for the better! Tink is a very high-energy puppy who needs a home with a yard and active pet parents to take her on long walks. She will do best with no children under 10 years old and no roommates. With a bit of pixie dust to make life brighter, she will have you smiling all day long. She’s got a sparkle in her eye and a love for life that will make your heart sing!

Allergies in pets

Has that dog been hit by Cupid’s laser? Nope. That’s just Sporty, our Client of the Moment, getting laser treatment on his arthritic elbow and shoulder. The heat from the laser will increase blood flow to the treated areas to promote pain relief and healing. The laser is calibrated for strength and length of the session based on the needs of the patient. Sporty and Courtney are both sporting those stylin’ shades for safety, but we think they look pretty cool too 😎
