URGENT LAST DAY IS 8/31/23
Meet Roxie a female pittie mix she is RESCUE ONLY DUE TO A ACCIDENTAL BITE BREAKING UP A DOG FIGHT!! She is a sweet sweet girl per staff and was so happy today to get her picture taken they said she did not react to other dogs today passing by there kennels but as for any dogthey need time to decompress and do slow introductions. Meet Roxy she is a beautiful female boxer mix that came in as a stray and no owner has come for her. She is now looking for her forever home. I believe she is around 62 pounds READ BELOW IS MORE INFO ON HER👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

Hey everyone! Below is a description of Roxy's personality by the lady who was able to hold her for a few days, to try to find her owners, after I was able to catch her in the Gold Hill/Old Beatty Ford Road area.
"She deserves a loving family that can give her a lot of attention and love! She’s house broken, gives paw, walks well on a leash/harness, sits, interacts well with other dogs and absolutely loves children. She has the sweetest little attitude. She loves to cuddle and sit on your lap."
During Roxy's time at her home, she displayed resource guarding behavior as there was an incident with their smaller sized dog regarding the food bowl, even when it was empty. But that was the ONLY time there had been an issue between them, was when food was involved. But this is understandable considering not too long ago she was most likely dumped and she did not know where her next meal would be coming from before she got there.

Please consider giving this sweet and beautiful girl a forever home, you will not be disappointed!
