Separation in the beginning allowed for this bond to occur. Sometimes we have to endure short term discomfort for long term gains.

Was it easy to keep these dogs apart for 10+ weeks? No, no it wasn’t.

When we decide to do what’s best for the dog vs what makes us feel good, only then will we see the results we were looking for.

Does luring and shaping puppy behavior work?

If you’re teach a new command and your dog doesn’t do it right away, DO NOT REPEAT THE COMMAND! Wait it out for a second and then guide the dog into the posture and reward. By repeating the command you’re watering down your words. Saying it repeatedly doesn’t help your dog understand it better.
