It was a difficult day yesterday. The best father you could have left us. My dad was the man who could do anything. Everything I know I learned from him. He was loved by all who knew him. He was everyone's best friend. If you needed something, he was always the first one there to help. I will miss him forever. The last of the real men is now at rest. I love you, Dad.

50 # Little Giant For Sale
This machine was 100% rebuilt by Steve Prillwitz when I brought it. It is still in perfect running condition. I added the brake assembly myself. There are two sets of dies. Drawing dies and flat dies. I will include the wooden base with the machine. DM me if you are interested. Feel free to share this post.

2023 - Highlights
Happy New Year!

Another successful opening day for me and my cousin. My 9 year old Springer, Duke was a bird finding machine today. He made it look easy, flushing birds out of heavy cover. Holding rock steady on the flush. Then, retrieved on command. One retrieve was 80 yards deep into the woods on a runner. Without Duke, it might have been impossible to find. Tucker, a German Shorthair, had a couple of beautiful points and made his retrieves also. Couldn't ask for a better day.

Got out for some ruffed grouse hunting in Maine with my son and a good friend . If you haven't been to Northwest Maine, you are missing one of the most beautiful places in America.

A little sharpness test.

Hailey's morning swim. She was practicing for the surfing championships. I think she has a shot for a 6 month old.

Hailey got in on the pool party today. Not bad for her first swim. 4 months old!

Cutting the serrations.

Just a little sharpness test on the 3 1/2" hunter. I think it will handle the field work well.

Having some fun with my Peddinghaus 110 Ton Hydraulic ironwork this morning. I know this has nothing to do with knives but all my knife maker friends love big machines that go bang! This is a 1" diameter hole thru 3/4" thick steel plate. The machine will do up to 1 1/4" diameter thru 1" thick steel plate. Sure beats drilling holes.
