Bears have been coming in pretty steady. Congratulations to all the successful hunters! I'm only going to take a couple more, and then I'm done with my bear for the year. I need to save room for deer and other things. This allows me to try to maintain a reasonable turnaround time for everyone. I want to thank my customers that picked up items last week. I had the honor to do a half lifesize bear for Matt. Matt is a purple heart veteran, and a heck of a nice guy. Thanks again to all my customers, new and old.

Friday dry day is here again!!! A couple more went home this week, thanks Gary and Kevin. It's been long days in the shop, racing the clock before another season kicks off. A bunch more will be getting finished next week, and the next batch will be getting mounted. Enjoy the holiday weekend everyone!

Big shout out to my customers! Thanks everyone for the business. This is some of the last batch of deer that went home recently. A couple floor pedestals, and a few wall pedestals as well. If you like giant mulies, they don't come much thicker than Doug's,.....what a beast! Have a great weekend to all of my customers and followers. The next big group is drying, you will see them soon.

Happy Friday ! Closed out the week with some more items heading home. Trying to knock down the workload before fall gets here again.

Well that's a wrap for this week. Nine deer got mounted, and are drying . Some others went home. Some fish for the grandkids, and a father and son musky memory. A couple more deer and a nice half life-size bear. Thanks again everyone, new customers and old. Have a great weekend everybody. Also, good luck to my multiple customers on the way to Africa. Can't wait to hear all about it, and do those trophies!

I clearly haven't been keeping up on my posts,as you can tell by all the photos. Some awesome trophies have found new homes recently. A couple custom whitetail pieces,( lip curl, and the apple mounts were fun projects.) Always fun doing African animals, and even some turkey jobs as well. Thanks again everyone.......more to come!

A great week in the shop, happy "Dry Day Friday?" These guys need to dry, and will be heading home soon. Opening day of fishing is tomorrow. Remember if you catch that big one, take the length,girth and some pictures and let them go. You can get a replica of that trophy done. They are very nice these days.
It's a shame to kill those big fish. A 20" bass is 7-10 years old, a 30" walleye is 10-12 and a 50" musky is 15-17 years old. ( On average) Let it go, let it grow! Good luck everyone, be safe and courteous to fellow sportsman.

It's been a long time since I took the time to thank my customers. Gotta love the smiles. I've said it before and I'll say it again.....THANK YOU ALL!!!! African animals are drying, some more bear on deck and onto some deer. Happy Easter everyone, praise God.

A couple things went home today. Travis brought in his daughter's turkey last spring, and she wanted a wall art piece done with it. The smile on her face says it all. Then another Travis took home his 8 lb walleye
Thanks for the work, I truly appreciate it. More stuff coming soon. Think spring everyone, turkeys will be gobbling and lakes are getting soft!

I'm honored to do what I do for my customers and friends. Zack is a crappie catching master, and Maverick caught a monster pumpkinseed. It's great to hear the stories and make new friends along the way. Thanks again. ( Think spring every.) Bears,rams and deer are coming up.

Thought I should thank a few more of my AWESOME customers. This is just a sample of what's been going home lately. A bunch of bear rugs also made home recently. These two big lake Michigan fish were fun projects. A silver phase brown trout and a giant king salmon, thanks guys. More fish are drying, and 3/4 Lifesize bear are next things up. Thanks again everyone....stay warm.
