This was the last whitetail buck from last year's batch. A custom snow scene giant buck. Thanks Mike, for the privilege of mounting this fantastic animal!!!
Im taking a few days to finally do some hunting for myself. I'll be available for drop offs next Tuesday afternoon, and pretty much the rest of the season.
If your thinking about getting one done, PLEASE text me with your name and number. I'll put you on the list, and we can set up a drop off time.

Deer are really moving! Got them coming in as fast as they can go home. Thanks guys. I'll be finishing the rest of my deer from last year in the next week.

Thanks again to my customers. I've got deer going out, and coming in again. I'm begging anyone that gets lucky enough to harvest a trophy, please, please get that deer processed as soon as possible. An animal start to break down the minute it's blood flow stops. In order to have the best mount possible, get it skinned and to your taxidermist of choice. ( Of course, I hope it's me. Lol) Believe me, any good taxidermist will take care of your deer better than anyone else. Good hunting everyone, go Brewers! 🏹🦌 P.S. go get your pumpkins at at Spiekers pumpkin farm! Just a couple that went home the last couple days. A fun rebuild of a broken off non typical. {Rebuilt from trail camera photos). Also some other very nice bucks found a new spot to hang. Down to my last group of deer. If your still waiting, yours is coming soon!
Please remember everyone, in this warm weather it's very important to get your deer taken care of immediately!!!!!! An animal starts to break down the minute it dies. Warm weather just accelerates the process, and increases the chance of a lost trophy.

Bears have been coming in pretty steady. Congratulations to all the successful hunters! I'm only going to take a couple more, and then I'm done with my bear for the year. I need to save room for deer and other things. This allows me to try to maintain a reasonable turnaround time for everyone. I want to thank my customers that picked up items last week. I had the honor to do a half lifesize bear for Matt. Matt is a purple heart veteran, and a heck of a nice guy. Thanks again to all my customers, new and old.

Friday dry day is here again!!! A couple more went home this week, thanks Gary and Kevin. It's been long days in the shop, racing the clock before another season kicks off. A bunch more will be getting finished next week, and the next batch will be getting mounted. Enjoy the holiday weekend everyone!

Big shout out to my customers! Thanks everyone for the business. This is some of the last batch of deer that went home recently. A couple floor pedestals, and a few wall pedestals as well. If you like giant mulies, they don't come much thicker than Doug's,.....what a beast! Have a great weekend to all of my customers and followers. The next big group is drying, you will see them soon.

Well that's a wrap for this week. Nine deer got mounted, and are drying . Some others went home. Some fish for the grandkids, and a father and son musky memory. A couple more deer and a nice half life-size bear. Thanks again everyone, new customers and old. Have a great weekend everybody. Also, good luck to my multiple customers on the way to Africa. Can't wait to hear all about it, and do those trophies!

I clearly haven't been keeping up on my posts,as you can tell by all the photos. Some awesome trophies have found new homes recently. A couple custom whitetail pieces,( lip curl, and the apple mounts were fun projects.) Always fun doing African animals, and even some turkey jobs as well. Thanks again everyone.......more to come!

A great week in the shop, happy "Dry Day Friday?" These guys need to dry, and will be heading home soon. Opening day of fishing is tomorrow. Remember if you catch that big one, take the length,girth and some pictures and let them go. You can get a replica of that trophy done. They are very nice these days.
It's a shame to kill those big fish. A 20" bass is 7-10 years old, a 30" walleye is 10-12 and a 50" musky is 15-17 years old. ( On average) Let it go, let it grow! Good luck everyone, be safe and courteous to fellow sportsman.
