💌The following was sent out as a mass massage to our clients, but in case you missed it…just a friendly reminder. 💌
We have been seeing an increase in some misunderstandings, miscommunication and a lot of emotions from clients lately and in order to avoid these we thought it best to send out an email going over our appointment protocols, general courtesy reminders etc. to make sure your appointments with us are efficient, stress-free and enjoyable for everyone.
Late to Appointment:
We are an appointment based clinic. Everyone we see has a scheduled appointment time. This allows us to run efficiently and be able to organize our time as efficiently as possible to help as many pets as possible. We do ask that you notify us if you are going to be late by calling into our office. If you are going to be more than 10 minutes late or arrive 10 minutes past your appointment time (even with notice) you will be rescheduled. This isn't to make your life difficult. As we mentioned we are appointment based so if you run past your appointment time you are cutting into the next patient's appointment time. This is not fair to the clients who are on time for their appointments. This causes major delays in our day and results with stressed and angry clients. This is not fair to us, to your pet who isn't given a thorough examination because we are rushed, nor is it fair to the clients who are on time. This is common courtesy.
Scheduling Appointments:
We do ask that you are as up-front with our scheduling staff as possible. Please include all of your concerns regarding your pets when you are making the appointment. This allows our scheduling staff to schedule your appointment with enough time to address all of your concerns and perform any additional diagnostics that may be recommended. If there is not adequate time scheduled to perform additional diagnostics you may be reschedule for another day to perform them. We do apologize for this inconvenience and we do our best to complete additional diagnostics the same day but unfortunately it is not always possible. To help with this we do ask that you give our scheduling staff as much information as possible.
Another note: We are booking out 2-3 weeks in advance. We understand this can be frustrating however taking your frustrations out on a burnt out and overworked staff member will not get you in any sooner. These types of interactions only further our burnout and workload. We are doing our best to see as many, help as many, utilize as many diagnostic tools as possible to help your pet. Please be kind.
Thanks,
Apple Tree Animal Clinic
