Autumn Jakopak and her beautiful saddlebred gelding "Doc" had a good first show together. So excited to see them mature as a team. This was a HUGE milestone for them but I think they will be appearing more often at events! Thank you Cimarron Equine Photography for getting these amazing photos!!!

Thank you to Pam and Sigourney Inman for trusting me with this beautiful mare. She is quite the character and we will get it together by next show season. She is an amazing mare! Riot Fire EEC was a handful this weekend. But he was still an amazing 4 year old. He managed to crowhop in the rail classes and flip his head and still get around the ring. By the end of showing in 13 classes over 2 days, he was on much better behavior. We tried our hand at ranch rail, performance halter, western city trail, and ranch riding. We won some, lost some, and had lots of rider error on the trail patter, but w3 made it thru. He LOVES the pattern classes but struggled in the rail classes... go figure. I feel the same, Mr Riot, I feel the same. Thank you to Region 6 Trail Kreww for putting on a great show and to Eric Kobernusz for selling me this fantastic horse, and to Cimarron Equine Photography for these AMAZING pictures!!! It takes a village to put on these horse shows and I am SO fortunate to be part of such a fun and tolerant group of people! Can't wait for next year!!!

We had a fantastic show this weekend at the Black Hills Classic put on by the Region 6 Trail Creww. It was small but mighty. Mark Jakopak was the announcer, along with William Schilling who filled in while he was riding the Icey Ziva. This was Ziva's first show. Mark has been riding her for the past few months and she is doing wonderful! What a cool mare. She belongs to Suncatchers and eventually the hope is for her to become a therapy horse. She is so kind. Perhaps after a few more miles she will be a good fit. And thank you to Cimarron Equine Photography for the amazing pictures of the weekend!!!

World, meet GWC Hollywoods Rebel "Lugh" or "Boogie" our 3 year old appaloosa stallion. He went on his first trail ride today and was fantastic! He will have 3 half arab babies on the ground in February and several Appaloosa babies coming in May/June for Jim Lane in Yankton. So excited for this boy!

It was a FANTASTIC CLINIC!!! I'm going through hours of video and hope this week to get some video snippets up. Until then, just a shout out to Darrell Roberds who came and taught us so much! It was a weekend so packed full of knowledge that I didn't retain it all, I'm sure!!!

Open Arena again this Wednesday! Come practice some of the obstacles or ride some dressage tests. It's gonna be a scorcher, but it's much nicer in the arena under cover! We will start at 8am and run till 10pm tomorrow so u can come when it's not so hot! Hope to see u tomorrow!

The Black Hills Working Equitation gathering today was SO much fun! We are honored to have hosted so many fantastic fun and patient people today! We had lots of people new to WE and lots of familiar faces. The costume contest was a hit and we hope everybody enjoyed the food, the fun, and the fellowship we shared today enjoying our horses on a beautiful late October day! Our little place was bursting with people and horses but we made the best of our little venue! Hope to see everybody in November in Sturgis at the next gathering!
