It’s recently been brought to our attention that the microchip company we’ve used for the last 13 years, Save This Life, has closed unexpectedly. Unfortunately this is going to affect every patient who has received a microchip here at Meiners Animal Clinic. Those microchips can no longer be looked up on the national database. Pet owners must re-register their pets microchip with another company. There are several options available, ranging from free to yearly memberships. BuddyID is offering temporary free registration to pet owners affected by the Save This Life shutdown. Also 24PetWatch has a free registration for basic services.

Please give us a call today if you have questions about this. We can also give you your pets microchip number so you can re-register their microchip.

We are shocked and saddened by this news, and apologize to everyone it affects. 😞
