I have a well established Adult Male Borneo Short-Tailed Python. I've had him since he was a few months old. Well easy going, relaxed animal. He's cool chilling in your lap or hanging out on the floor.
Hes a 2017 by Dan Maggano.

They don't defecate as often as other snakes, Tropical Species. 60-65% humidity. 85° he's pretty happy. Enclosure size of 6×2×2 would be plenty of space for him.
Heavily bodied, Naturally a ground dweller. He does well around all ages.
He is at his max size & length (about 6ft). Eats once every 3-4 weeks (large frozen/thaw rat or a 1lb frozen/thaw rabbit (yes, I keep frozen rabbit in stock).

With my Spine deteriorating, was considering a trade of sorts. I need help cleaning rats. I'm offering a feeder credit system. Typically it takes me 2 hours just by myself, but with help, I can reduce it to finishing in an hour. You get $20-$25 credit for your reptiles (or adoption), and I take less of a physical blow.

Rats love to dig. Mine also like to sleep in their digging pit... Catch some Zz's for me!
*if you use fleece in these cages, make sure to swap them out every other day at the latest. Fleece holds bacteria. I just get the discount fabric rolls, Makes it a breeze to swap out!
If you need hammock chains for your hammocks, I make them in a few different length sizes ❤🐁🎀

Often I come across this question. "Where can I find the bigger logs/sticks and how can I make sure it's safe?"

Well first we have to talk about what is safe..
Driftwood, Spiderwood, Oak, Ghostwood, Basically HARD wood, steer clear of Soft woods, wood under powerlines and within pathways.

When the holidays are hard, I look to my rattie patties (since they sleep in a heap) to bring a smile.. Enjoy!
Several of these rats Are Moving to another Awesome & Knowledgable rattery in Chicago in 3 weeks, so im soaking up my time. And that's the nice part about Cleaning day, I get to have full attention to every colony. *these 2 totes are spare housing for cleaning*. When they get to go into a 6 foot wide puppy pop up tent.. 😁 It's therapeutic. They popcorn when excited, just like rabbits & guinea pigs and others. Quite comical.

Fun Fact about Snabie Snax.. we are not only a Burmese Breeder... My true Specialty is Rat Pedigree/Lines. I LOVE the contrast color in Coat Patterns with Speckling. This has taken Years to reach this point.. like Benji.. and several before him. The product you buy from me comes from long years of Love & Compassion for the little furry lives that become A Life For A Life. They Are given love, treats, chews, toys, the best of the best, because of their purpose WHILE I am perfecting the coat markings I Love visually. I want these creatures to experience happiness and a humane end. I breed for quality. Yeah, I am more expensive, but I want rats to be given a better standard of care.
They deserve that. ❤🎀
