A soft, velvety cake with a creamy cream cheese frosting—perfect for any special occasion!

🍰 Ingredients:
For the Cake:
• 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
• 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp white cocoa powder
• 1 ½ cups vegetable oil
• 1 cup buttermilk, room temperature
• 2 large eggs, room temperature
• 2 tbsp white vinegar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
• 8 oz cream cheese, softened
• ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
• 6 ½ cups confectioners’ sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

🍰 Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour your cake pans.
2️⃣ In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
3️⃣ In another bowl, whisk oil, buttermilk, eggs, vinegar, and vanilla.
4️⃣ Combine both mixtures and beat until smooth.
5️⃣ Pour into prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely.
6️⃣ For the frosting: Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla.
7️⃣ Frost cooled cake layers, decorate, and serve!
