This is very true! Just like kids, we need to teach puppies and dogs to problem solve without becoming reactive and fearful to things. Our momma dogs help correct and teach puppies. Once old enough we let the puppies interact with our other dogs to encourage manners and play. We introduce them to farm animals and the great outdoors. It is also the responsibility of new owners to continue the training and the challenges, because unless proper learning happens they can become difficult and fearful.

In case anyone is wondering, having bassets is like having toddlers! Left for a minute and came back to find they had pulled the blanket off the couch and decided to play with their toys on it. They then exhausted themselves and fell asleep on it😂😂

Please be aware, multiple scammers are getting in!
As much as I try to catch them and I've got security measures in place some still manage to sneak in! Please do not click on any link in comments! Usually these people have "normal" looking profiles but reply to comments with a link to another basset page. We are not affiliated with any of these pages!
These scammers have also stolen photos from my page and are using them as their own which is beyond frustrating as Facebook will not do anything about it.

Argent went on an adventure today. First stop the vets for his rabies and microchip ( also he's up to 32 lbs) , then to North 40 and Lowe's. Needless to say he loved exploring and is now ready for a nap.
