The kids had a good day! Obi got to “run fast!”, Play frisbee, and be the neutral dog for CGC testing….
Zuri tried to fast cat for the first time. She 💩ed on the course during her first run (automatic donation to the club 😂) then got a whopping 22.748 for her first official score!
Not bad for a pup who had a really bad stranger danger fear period and was spayed 3 weeks ago!
Thanks to Brenda who always holds my maniac pooches!
Obi is showing off his latest fashion. A reversible Halloween harness that was given to him by a good friend!

Busy, HOT weekend so far!
Thank you SO much Marie and The Gated Dock for allowing Obi to get in the one run that he needed to “actually “ get his FCat! One of his score was missing so we will return the ribbon that we thought he earned last trial!
We will try to get a second run in at some point this weekend as a buffer, in case something else is amiss 💕

We had SO MUCH FUN at Duke's K9 Dash N' Splash Duke's Annual EGGstravaganza Egg Hunt. The puppies weren’t sure about the giant bunny but liked finding eggs (and trying to swallow them 🤦‍♀️). We won a bunch of cool swag and a new crate! Thanks again for such a great event to benefit the Portage County Sheriff’s Department K9 Unit!

Contracts with ethical breeders

All ethical breeders have a contract that is agreed to and signed when you purchase their dogs. In this contract can have multiple different subjects including price, spay or neuter timeline, breeding rights or restrictions etc. But the most important thing in a breeding contract is that no matter what the breeder will take the puppy back at any time.

This is what keeps dogs out of shelters. This makes sure every dog has a home no matter what. All the other parts of a contract is important but this to me is the most important part of an ethical breeder.
