Quick has a secret to tell you all.... His fee is now WAIVED to help him find the most perfect home! 🥹❤️

This handsome Appaloosa has one of the most expressive faces you’ll ever see and a personality that shines just as brightly. He’s sweet and so deserving of a family to call his own.

We’re incredibly proud of the trust we’ve built with our adopters. There is nothing more rewarding than watching our horses blossom in their new homes. Rehabbing and bonding with a horse like Quick is a deeply fulfilling experience, and we just know he’ll bring joy to the right home.

While we’re not sure of Quick’s full riding or training history, we believe that with patience, time, and love, this special gelding will make a wonderful partner.

A glimpse at some of the autumn fun we had before heading into the colder weather. We’ll remember the fun as the leaves 🍂 fell and embrace for the winter to come.

Scenes were taken at our Boo at the Barn event. 🎃 This is typically our last event of the season and is an all ages affair with hay rides, cider, trick or treating, and interactions with the animals 🐐🦃🐴🐏.

As things wind down at the sanctuary, we’ll still be working hard caring, feeding, and finding forever homes for the animals 💕. It’s also a time to prep for the new year and events to come! So, make sure to stay connected and we’ll be sharing stories of new arrivals and behind the scenes look 👀 at the work of our caregivers and volunteers.

This post has two purposes:

1. To celebrate Essie's beauty, her resilience, and her recent adoption!
2. To emphasize the importance of a healthy diet for pet pigs.

Essie arrived several years ago, just as sweet as can be. She was also very overweight. For pigs, it is SO much easier to gain weight than to lose it! The first step in Essie's rehabilitation was to get her accustomed to eating an appropriate and consistent diet, eliminating sugary and excessive treats. From there, the pounds shed off, and she was free to move around much more comfortably. It's a LOT of work carrying that much weight!

If you're thinking about adopting a pet pig, we highly recommend it. They make the best additions for your farmyard family! Just remember to schedule regular vet check-ups and avoid table treats to keep them healthy and happy.

Teachers Jessica and Kim from BioMed had their kindergartners collect aluminum cans to help raise money for the animals.
Over 1000 cans were collected!
Then they slogged through the rain and mud to take pictures of some of the animals to show the kids who they are helping.

Thank you to the Cleveland State Pre Vet Club for their kindness! Not only did these amazing students volunteer their time here at the sanctuary, they also hosted a bake sale to raise funds for the animals. ♥️🥰

Jensen has quickly stolen the hearts of everyone on our farm… and we know yours is next! 🥹❤️

Jenny is a gentle senior Tennessee Walker mare looking for the perfect retirement home. Full of personality, she’s sure to brighten your life. Her many adorable quirks will keep you smiling and laughing every single day.

She does have cataracts in both eyes that limit her vision, but she navigates her world with confidence. Jenny is kind and steady with other horses, making her an excellent choice for anyone hoping to add a sweet, reliable companion to their herd.

Though she may be up in years, her zest for life and remarkable comeback have shown us she’s got plenty of beautiful days ahead. She deserves someone willing to take a chance on her. We have a true gut feeling that person might be YOU.
