We’d LOVE to introduce you to one of the most gentle geldings to come through... ❤️

With kindness in their hearts and food always on their minds, Benji is ready to embark on a journey of trust and companionship with a loving new family.

Here at HT, we are so proud of the trust we’ve built with our adopters. Nothing brings us more joy than watching our horses blossom in their new homes. Rehabbing is one of the most rewarding experiences you can go through, and we truly believe that Benji will bring that same joy to the right person.

While we’re unsure of his riding or training histories, we know that with time, patience, and a strong bond, this guy has what it takes to become an amazing riding partner.

Did you hear? 🍂 Our premiere fall event is on the way—Embrace Fall, Feed the Farm!

Get ready for an unforgettable evening at the sanctuary as the sun sets. Guests can sip drinks, enjoy scrumptious desserts and appetizers, and mingle with staff, volunteers, and of course, the rescued animals. 🐑🐖🐴

This special night supports the animals through the EmbraceCLE Challenge and features horse barn grooming, a silent auction filled with unique treasures, and our famous Great Pumpkin Smash 🎃—where the animals get to join in the fall fun!

The event is 21+, and while dress is casual and up to you, we recommend boots or durable footwear to comfortably explore the sanctuary. Come celebrate autumn, compassion, and community with us! 🌾

Oh, Miss Mabel... Our Doll. 🥺🩷

This sweet mare has come such a long way.

When Mabel first arrived at the sanctuary, her body condition score was a 2. She was exhausted, underweight, and understandably wary of people. Life hadn’t been kind to her.

But with time, patience, and love, Mabel realized our team was here to help.... and from that moment on, she made a complete 180. (Yes, we know it's technically 180, but this glow-up feels like a full 360!)

Now? She’s thriving. Healthy, happy, and full of life. She’s packed on the weight she desperately needed and blossomed into a full-on cuddle bug. If you’re looking for a soft, gentle soul to love on in the stall? She’s your girl!

As much as Mabel enjoys the sanctuary, her eyes tell us what her heart is feeling: she’s longing for a home of her own. A family. Someone to love her just as much as she’ll love them.

Despite being one of our longest equine residents, we know the right person is out there. Her forever human. And maybe… just maybe… it’s you.

Even if you have just a tiny bit of space in your heart, please open it. Give her a chance. We promise you won’t regret it. Mabel is nothing but love and light, and she’s ready to show the world that your past doesn’t define your future.

The crisp autumn air is rolling in 🍂 and what better way to welcome the season than by supporting rescued animals at our premiere event and Fall Fundraiser: Embrace Fall, Feed the Farm!

Join us for a magical evening at the sanctuary as the sun sets—sip drinks, savor decadent desserts and appetizers, and mingle with staff, volunteers, and of course, the animals. 🐴🐑🐖

This event will support the animals through the EmbraceCLE Challenge and will feature grooming in the horse barn, a silent auction filled with unique treasures, and our Great Pumpkin Smash 🎃 where the animals get in on the fall fun! The evening is open to guests 21 and older. Dress however you’d like, but don’t forget your boots or durable shoes for a comfortable stroll around the sanctuary.
