**UPDATE**

10/23/25 We are still in Morgantown and not any major changes. He is still not awake and working with dr’s on what steps to take next.

Please continue prayers and I will notify those that are scheduled on a daily basis. The shop will be closed Friday October 24.

I am begging for your prayers and good energy!!!

As some of you know, my dad had heart surgery the first part of September. After being released, he was admitted back into hospital to get meds adjusted. He has been back home and doing quite well, unfortunately today he had a pretty nasty fall and was injured pretty badly. He has been life flighted to Morgantown to their trauma unit.

After his journey with a heart attack and surgery, he is now battling an uncertain future.

With this being said, Happy Hounds Grooming will be closed this week so I can focus on his care and recovery. I will reach out to all who had an appointment scheduled this week once I return to the shop. Please say a little prayer for him and thank you for your patience and understanding 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

We are still in Morgantown. He has improved a little, but still not awake enough to take off ventilator. I will update this weekend on my return to the shop.

With Fall festivities in full swing and Halloween right around the corner, it's important to remember that our favorite treats can be very dangerous for our pets! It's always best to call your Veterinarian, ER, or Pet Poison Helpline asap for advice if your pet ingests ANY amount of ANY chocolate. 🐶🐱

It’s always hard saying good bye…..but 2 times the same day is unbearable. Jenkins and Jake were 2 dogs that I’ve groomed since I became a groomer. Both followed me to Happy Hounds Grooming and had regular appointments. They will be deeply missed and will always have a special place in my heart. RIP Jenkins and Jake 💔💔💔

I absolutely LOVE watching them grow. Casper comes to me every 3 weeks and has come a long way. We’ve had our challenges, but with patience and understanding he ENJOYS his grooms ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I feel like something needs to be clarified….over the past few days I have received some negative comments on me being booked for the remainder of 2025. Yes, this is 100% true and has been the case for a couple of months. For those who feel that I just don’t want to groom their dog, those that think I am exaggerating, and the new customers that think I just don’t want their business…..please feel free to come in and review my schedule book.

Being the only groomer, my schedule allows time for proper grooming and any situations that might arise. I will not over book myself to the point of hurrying and putting out a terrible groom. I take pride in each and every groom that takes place. Great grooms are not fast and fast grooms are not good.

I do have a cancellation list in the case of someone rescheduling, which I am happy to add names to.
