Free “Makeup” class today at the Rayland park 10:30-11:30 AM available to anyone who’s taken a group class with us before.
I won’t be teaching group for a bit due to my health & upcoming time off for our wedding so today’s the last chance for a bit.
Perfect 75 & cloudy
We’ll work on general socialization & handeling techniques, dog body language, basic commands & leash manners but depends on whos there.

🌷🌻GROUP CLASSES 🌸🌺
We will be holding classes this spring at Rayland Park in anticipation of their YTR Bark Park (Dog Park) opening this summer. These classes are a great idea for anybody but especially those looking to use the bark park in the future.You receive a digital guide on handling, training, and caring for a dog + 4 group classes with a focus on cultivating a calm & fulfilling relationship with our animals as well as understanding how to properly socialize them to others and their environment.

Training methods are balanced though positive & relationship based.
Class sizes are small and our environment is very calm and relaxed as caring for anxious animals and their anxious humans is our specialty. 🤍🐾
While most trainers accept 15+ dogs we only allow about 6 per class.
All dogs need to have a 1:1 either completed or scheduled with us to attend.

Jake has been a very good boy & it’s ready to find a home!

Jake was a PERFECT boy on his walk through the park!
He doesn’t react to people & dogs passing by..
He’s a dream in the car..
Lays down in the backseat & you wouldn’t know he was there.
Quietly sits in the passenger seat to wait if you need to pump gas or run in to grab a snack too!
Loves a trip through the drive through for a bite of your burger or a nugget.
He does well in a smaller room on his own while away.
He’s never chewed on anything he shouldn’t & he hasn’t had an accident inside in weeks since getting the point.
Has been great going on walks with other dogs & with 1:1 play. He also previously lived with another dog.
Seems to like a game of chase with cats but doesn’t seem to mean harm. Would potentially do well with a laid back cat that didn’t tease him like a kitten would.
All around a good boy with a lot of love & life left in him. He just wants a warm place to hang through the day, to go on some car rides with you, & to either have a yard to roam or even better some nice walks where he can sniff to his hound hearts content 💕🐾

He’s a 5 year old Walker Tree Hound
Pulled from a euthanasia list due to lack of space at a local shelter.
Fully vaccinated, dewormed
& recently neutered.

Is now avaible for adoption after 3 weeks board & train assessment in Martins Ferry Ohio

Homework for our group class snow day! & some free tips I suppose for anyone else! Haha Below I’ve included a bonus class with the focus being you & your dog leaning the natural language of pressure/ release & applying Good/Nope to your cue/command formula. Incorporate calmness & eye-contact into daily life as consistently a you can for things your dogs wants like doors, food, treats, toys, & pets if they’re being rude for them in yoir eyes. We want to cultivate calmness over jumpiness & pushiness. Over time your dog will do these things automatically if you keep up. A dog that auto waits when a door opens is a beautiful thing! Plus, It’s good for all of use to take a breather before we rush out the door anyway & move through life calmly 😊 I don’t have a puppy here to video but this is Jake who we got in this week from a local shelter on the euthanasia list. He’s 5 years old, lived outsides his whole life, & quite puppy like in the sense that he knows nothing quite yet & is VERY jumpy & pushy. As always, I’m here for questions!
