Dog Paws Sportz is closed today. We need the day to dig out and clean up. We got over a foot of snow and it is snowing again.

After many pain staking hours, the driveway and parking lot are cleared! The snow was so heavy that the plow cable broke 2x and we lost a pin. Ken is good at fixing the cable and a bolt did the trick till a new pin can be purchased. It seems we had every size pin but the one we needed.

Dog Paws Sportz is open today. Please be careful. I will get salt down by the door. the potty area is covered in snow, sorry short dogs. Wipe your feet and your dogs feet when you come in Towels are to your left hanging.

Our indoor ring is ready for fall and winter rentals. Your time is yours to work what ever you want. We do have a full set of obedience equipment, rally and trick and stunt dog items. Also available is our inside agility equipment. Pm me if you are looking for dates and times.

Exciting news: It is spring/summer outside agility time! I will be putting up a new course biweekly in our beautiful 100 x 100 outside agility field. It is fully fenced and has 2 gates to get in and out easier.

So rental time has come! Cost per half hour is $30 up to 3 dogs. After that is is $5 extra per dog. It is $50 for an hour, same extra dog rate. Can be paid prior to arrival is you pm me and I will send you information to pay.

We have also added a wall jump upon request. Tire is a saloon tire. All other equipment is AKC/CPE legal.

PM me to lock in your preferred time. Ring is available 7 days a week between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm. The ring is not available on Wednesday evenings as classes are in session.

So Diamond and I have begun working on closing the mailbox. It has taken several days and sessions to figure out the way she will learn this. I had a break thru last night. I used my clicker stick, refreshed "touch" to the end and used the ball on the front of the mailbox lid. And that was it! Now she is nose touching the lid to close it (she is very much about using her paw). We have the lid about half way open as of last night. Now will she remember it tomorrow evening? Only time will tell.

We are looking to add a Triple Crown class on Wednesday evenings. In this class we will cover Tricks, Fitness and Stunt Dog.

At the end of 6 weeks you can test for the Novice, CCF1 and Novice Stunt Dog if you would like. While we love that people want to earn titles, it is not the goal of this this class. The goal is to introduce students to the Do More With Your Dog program. Also to have fun with your dog.

I am have availability for ring rentals, and privates on Friday's for the summer. 100 x 100 fully fenced ring with competition quality equipment. All outside, come enjoy the fresh air!
