We just wanted to apologize to everyone for the slow response in voicemails. Our Standish salon closes every other Saturday and alternating Tuesday, and we are closed every Sunday and Monday. Unfortunately this means every other week we are closed Saturday-Tuesday. We are in the process of gaining the staff to be open Mondays and Tuesdays again every week and we appreciate everyone’s patience while we do so! It's so close to spring (the groundhog said so), which also means its close to mud season and we're here to help! Whether your pup is just muddy, shedding, or shaggy... or all three, we can clean them up and give them a new look in time for spring.

All of our full service baths or grooms include a shed-less shampoo and conditioner for any shedding breed! This helps safely remove undercoat and will reduce shedding at home, especially if done on a regular basis.

Lavish Dog is hiring fully trained groomers for our location in Standish. We strive to create a low stress environment for both pups and groomers. We work one-on-one straight through and average about 4-6 dogs a day per groomer. This is a full time, hourly position that includes:

- 40 hours paid time off

In light of the recent canine respiratory illness we will be following certain protocols and procedures. We love your fur babies and we want them safe just like you. Out of an abundance of caution our salons will be doing the following to help ease your worries and also keep every dog safe within our salon.

We are trying our best to have one dog in the lobby at a time, if you approach the door and see another dog waiting please return to your car and give us a phone call letting us know you are here.

If you are dropping your dog off please arrive at the time of your appointment, please try not to be early. If you are early you may wait in your car until we are ready and just give us a phone call letting us know you are there.

When picking up your dog please arrive on time for pick up. If we are running behind we will try our best to let you know ahead of pick up.

Since we work one on one with dogs they do not come into contact with any other dogs in the salon. Groomers are stationed away from other dogs. We expect owners to keep their dogs away from others at drop off as well. This is for the safety of both parties. Please have your dog on a leash and know that if we ask you to step out for another dog to come out that it’s for the safety of everyone.

We have an instant disinfectant for our tables and equipment that is dog safe. We also are using a vet safe disinfectant for any areas dogs go.

If your dog goes to daycare or has been boarded we ask for full transparency and that they have not been to either places for at least a week and are symptom free before coming into our salon.

If a dog is showing the following symptoms : coughing, sneezing, or red/ runny eyes. Please call the salon and cancel your appointment. If we see any of the symptoms at check in we will not be grooming the dog until we have vet clearance.

If you have a high risk dog, or an elderly dog and you would like a completely separate grooming room, please call the day before your appointment. We have set up a special room at each salon to accommodate that.

Please be patient and kind with us as we navigate this new way of checking in. We are doing the best we can for the safety and well being of your dogs and our own dogs at home. If you have any questions please feel free to call either location. Know that we do try to answer the phone as fast as we can, if you get sent to voice mail we will get back to you.
