Prairie Fire Goldens has been raising high quality Golden Retrievers for over 20 years in West Central Minnesota. We are blessed to have our home and kennel amidst 160 acres of native prairie grass which includes large and small ponds. It’s a great advantage for us and our dogs to be able to hunt and train on this land. All Prairie Fire Goldens come from a strong proven line of field-bred Golden R

etrievers. This proven line contains field champions, master hunters, gun dogs, and obedience titled dogs. Our Golden Retrievers are excellent hunters and performance dogs that make great family pets. They are all business in the field but can turn that switch off when you are ready to relax in your home. For each litter we strive to produce healthy puppies that are intelligent, good looking, and easy to train. They will be suitable for both the family and hunting homes, but also have enough natural skill and talent to compete at a high level for field trials or hunt tests. Our dogs have competed and done very well in both field trials and hunt tests. Our goal is to provide you with a Golden Retriever that you will be proud to own. We are members of the Golden Retriever Club of America. Their website (www.grca.org) provides a lot of quality information about Golden Retrievers. We also offer Golden Retriever stud service by our male Brassfire's Full Throttle **MH (Diesel). PRAIRIE FIRE GOLDENS has an outstanding litter of pups ready for new homes October 1st. The pups are out of Prairie Fire's Trevi River JH, DS and Brassfire Prairie Fire's Light Em Up JH. Both parents are proven gun dogs and accomplished upland and waterfowl hunters. The pedigree contains some phenomenal field dogs including Stanley Steamer and many other highly acclaimed field goldens. Both River and Blaze are great looking dark red goldens that strive to please in the field and in the home. They have all their health clearances and genetic screenings which are listed on K9data. Pups will receive bio sensor early neurological stimulation, dewormed, vaccinated, introduced to birds, tested and well socialized. Please PM for inquiries.

Most other years on July 12th, we would celebrate Diesel's birthday by taking him for a swim and some retrieves or a ride in the jeep. Today, July 12, 2022, would have been Diesel's 15th birthday. Unfortunately, he passed away just before Christmas of 2021. He was the BEST dog I ever owned and was an outstanding golden both in the field and in the home. He made some incredible retrieves in the field on wounded geese, ducks and pheasants. He was a talented, fun loving "swamp collie" that everyone loved. He was the dog my kids grew up with as teenagers and were able to enjoy time with in the field and in the home. The dog LOVED to retrieve and it didn't matter if it was birds, bumpers or socks off the ceiling fan or apples out of the apple trees. He was a clown and loved to show off!! He was truly "man's best friend"!!! Miss you Big D! RIP

Diesel is 14 years old today. We celebrated yesterday by going to the lake and then came home to grill a large burger for him. He was kind enough to share it with River. Love this dog!
