Came across my dog registration book and was surprised to see that Bitsy(Itsy- Bitsy Snowflake) is fourteen years old , and her tiny, 8 lb daughter Sassy is ten years old. They are my last American Eskimos. Both are in good health. How time goes by. Still my little sweeties.

Winter will be upon us soon. Now is the time to winterize your outdoor dogs house. Bales of straw around the house make good insolation but not inside. When I was a state regulated dog breeder, I was surprised the state didn’t want us to use straw as bedding because it bred insects. If your dog likes to drag it’s bedding out of its house, put regular house carpet down. And remember dogs need fresh water in the winter even more than in the summer. A heated water bucket can be purchased from farm stores.

Have a Happy Halloween and be sure to keep your doggy babies away from the chocolate. All the pet costume pix are adorable!🎃👻

My Eskimo babies are so glad it is almost fall with cooler temperatures. They have been staying out and playing a little when they go out to potty. It has been a long hot summer.

07/25/2021

During this extra hot weather keep dogs inside if you can and make sure they have lots of fresh water whether indoors or out.

I am mama to three senior American Eskimos:Bitsy, Sassy, and Jack. They each have distinct and separate personalities. Bitsy is very laid back and sweet. Sassy only weighs 8 pounds but is all energy and oneryness, Jack is a little crippled but doesn’t let that stop him. He has a sweet and cute personality. If I’m feeling down, time with them cheers me.

I know many of you have gotten your little Eskimos from me and know how well I always raised them. I just published this step-by-step Dog Breeding and Birthing, Tried and True Methods on Amazon last week. It's full of detailed information and lots of pictures of my Miniature Eskimos. It's available in paperback or ebook and is only $5.99. If you would like to order a signed copy from me, just let me know. Thanks all.

Bitsy turned ten this May so Linda's Happy Puppy breeding is officially retired. I would like to rehome my seven year old male, Jack. He is such a sweet natured fellow. He is Jill's brother. Please contact me if interested.

To everyone who was waiting to see how many puppies Bitsy had, she delivered at 2:30 Friday afternoon one female puppy. The person on the top of my waiting list has confirmed that she wants her, so no puppies will be available now until next year. Thanks to all who have contacted me.

Does anyone in the Kansas City area have a tiny male, UKC registered. I am thinking of breeding Sassy, who only weighs 8lbs. She is about the size of a Chihuahua. She is starting to come into heat. Please call me at 913-944-2123 as soon as possible.

12/07/2017

Bitsy and Yuki are expecting puppies in the middle of January. It's just a waiting time now.

10/30/2017

Bitsy is just coming into heat, which would make her having puppies in the middle of January if she takes. I will know by the end of December is she is pregnant. So get me your phone numbers if you are wanting a puppy from this liter. As you may or may not know, she will only have one to four puppies.

07/20/2017

Hope everyone is having a great summer with your little Eskies. Many people have inquired about my next liter. Bitsy is taking her summer break and should be in heat again in November. I will keep you all posted. Have a wonderful summer.

03/09/2017

Both puppies now spoken for. Thanks to all who inquired. We won't have more until next spring.

02/13/2017

Several people on my puppy call list weren't able to get a puppy at this time, so I have one 4 week old male puppy up for adoption. He won't be ready for another four weeks but I am taking a deposit of $100 to hold him. If interested please let me know.

02/04/2017

I know many of you are wondering if Bitsy had her puppies. Yes, she had two males, January 18th. I am now in the process of calling people who are on my waiting list. One is already spoken for and I am waiting to hear from the next person who left me their phone number. I'm sorry she didn't have more puppies. She won't have another liter now until next year about this time. I appreciate all of your interest and support. I will be posting pictures soon for those of you who enjoy viewing them. Thanks to all.

Will keep everyone posted.

11/04/2016

Still watching for Bitsy to come into heat. I may have missed it. I will keep everyone posted. I know there are several people wanting puppies right now.

10/05/2016

All is well here on the puppy farm. I'm just waiting for Bitsy to come into heat. I will be sure and let all those who are anxiously waiting for news of my next liter as soon as I know.

06/28/2016

Not much going on here at the eskimo farm. Planning on breeding Bitsy this fall. I will let everyone know when she gets pregnant. Right now just staying cool and enjoying hte summer.

02/10/2016

Jill had to have an emergency c-section this morning. She only had one which was born dead. I had to have her spayed because of complications. She is home now doing well. She is such a sweet little dog. Sorry to disappoint all who were hoping for puppies. Needless to say it was a rough day.

01/29/2016

Jill is gaining weight and I am looking for puppies in two weeks. All the dogs are doing so well. I am writing a small book about birthing puppies while I sit with the dogs. I will keep everyone posted about my progress. When I was looking for information on puppy birthing I found that there wasn't a lot of information to be found in one place. I have learned a lot in the seventeen years I have been breeding eskimo's.
