This Wednesday is 9/11. In the spirit of remembrance HT would like to host a donation event. All proceeds going to the great work done by the folks at PA PitStop! Their tireless work of rescuing dogs and finding their forever homes is something very dear to all of us. Your donation of dog food or money can help so many helpless dogs. Let’s spend 911 being kinder to one another, paying it forward and remembering those that died, lost loved ones or gave the ultimate sacrifice for others. HT Reading is offering $9.11 off of daycare for any current customer with an active police, firefighter or military ID this Wednesday. You can drop off dog food or make a donation up until the close of business on Saturday. Thank you! ❤️🤍💙

Just a reminder that we have a 7 day waiting period from any vet visit to return to HT. Whether it’s for boarding or daycare we ask that you wait 7 days from visiting the vet for any reason to come into the facility. Your dog could potentially pick up an illness and unknowingly spread it to the other dogs. Our goal is to keep all of our HT family safe and ask that you comply with this policy. If your dog needs a vaccine urgently you can go to a vaccine clinic like Petco or Pet Supplies plus and then there is no waiting period. Thank you!! 💚💙🐾🐶

We are currently experiencing a power outage at Hounds Town. The dogs are fine but there is no estimate being provided by the utility company as to when the power will be restored. There is obviously no air conditioning but thankfully it's not too hot out today. The staff is diligently caring for your pets not to worry. This will make checkout problematic if you do not have a package. If you can possibly pay by cash today that would be helpful. Daycare is $39.22 inc tax per dog. Or we can charge your card on file when the power comes back.
