Meet sweet Zucchini.
Zucchini is 5 months old, a “mini” bernedoodle.
She is 20 pounds currently, and expected to be a medium sized dog. She was surrendered to Zoe’s House from a commercial breeder with her brother cupid.
Zucchini is the most adorable, precious, cuddly, affectionate puppy her foster family has ever known.
She loves to be held on her back
in your arms or on your chest, just like a baby.
Zucchini is a very happy girl, loves to play outside, and loves the cold weather. She is
full of puppy energy.
She must have a fenced/secure yard to burn her energy, walks daily would be great as well as weather permits. She is great with people of all ages, but can jump up on on little kids, so we prefer ages 6 and up in her new home.
Zucchini currently is being fostered with an 80 lb Bernedoodle and a 10 lb mini Goldendoodle.
She loves to play with them. She is still learning manners, so needs fed separately.
She has not been with any
cats yet, but we can test if needed.
Zucchini is working on her social skills and leash training.
Zucchini is learning “leave it”, “come”, “sit”, “stay”.
Zucchini is a smart puppy, but would benefit from formal puppy training classes and keeping her socialized.
Zucchini follows her foster family everywhere, a little Velcro pup. She will even lay her head on
their feet when they stand still.
She is still afraid of some noises and new
things, but with slow introductions she is more confident with time.
Zucchini will need regular 8-week grooming as this breed requires.
She is working on potty training, she just needs consistency to get there fully in her new home.
She loves to chew things that are no-no's like a typical puppy her age, so she must be supervised when she is awake and roaming around.
Zucchini is spayed, microchipped, utd on vaccines, and preventions.

Say hello to Miss Mabel, the post precious, seasoned couch pitato you’ll ever meet!

Mabel is a female pit mix that is approximately 7 years old. She came into a local shelter as a stray before landing in her foster home. She adores her human companions and is the happiest pup her foster mom has ever met, wearing a massive grin for 90% of her day.

Mabel is an incredibly easy dog who just wants a warm cozy couch, a loving human, and the occasional snack. She walks well on a leash, is a perfect princess in the car, and has very good manners. She is potty trained, crate trained, and knows basic commands.

She loves wearing sweaters, doing happy dance tippy tappies, and snuggling with her humans. Mabel would do well as the star of the show or in a home with other calm, low-level energy pups. She has shown interest in cats but does not become fixated and can be redirected.

Mabel is an absolute gem of a pup and quite the catch. Her future owners will be absolutely lucky to have her grace them with her presence 🥹

Do you have another young, playful dog looking for a best friend? Carol is a CATCH!

Carol is a 10-week-old mini poodle who was surrendered from a breeder because she had a deformed back leg. Nothing can slow this little girl down! Carol is THRIVING as a tripod.

Carol is around 6 pounds and will likely be around 10 pounds when full grown. Poodles require regular grooming, and we cannot guarantee that she won’t shed or is hypoallergenic.

Carol would do best in a home with a moderately active family and another young pup. She LOVES to play – with other dogs – with toys – with your shoes. Anything! Carol would benefit from puppy/beginner dog training in a group setting.

She loves all dogs, cats, and people of all ages. Carol’s current foster home has 3 other small dogs and 2 large dogs - she does a good job of following their lead. She loves to snuggle with her humans. xs

She is doing great with potty training. She will need a family to continue to work with her on leash walking and crate training. Regression is common when changing environments.

Carol does great in the car and would enjoy joining you on your morning coffee run or on a roadtrip!

Although Carol is a normal puppy with a minor disability, she needs a family who is understanding of animals with “special needs” and their potential lifestyle differences.

Meet Moose!

All About Moose:
Moose, the lovable goofball with a heart full of joy! At just one year old, Moose is already full of personality and affection. This active boy loves going on walks, lounging on the couch, playing with his toys (especially balls and chew bones), and sitting on laps—he’s truly a snuggle buddy at heart.
While Moose has been through a lot, he’s ready to find a forever home where he can live his best life.

Moose was surrendered due to bilateral hip dysplasia, and while his left hip has already been repaired, he will eventually need surgery for his right hip within the next 1-2 years. His weight needs to be carefully managed to help with his hip health, but he’s still an energetic pup who loves to play and explore.

What makes Moose special?
Moose is a “ladies’ man” who thrives on human companionship and loves being around people and other dogs.

He's a little too enthusiastic for small children but would do best in a home with older kids or adults who can keep up with his playful nature.
He has a sensitive stomach and skin, so he’s on a special diet and takes a daily probiotic.
Moose enjoys toys, and while he takes good care of most, he also has a playful side and may tear up a toy or two—especially when there’s a squeaker involved!
He’s very much a "lap dog" and loves being near his humans, whether it's lounging on the couch or going for a walk.
Moose is learning leash manners, and while he can be a bit of a puller, he responds well to guidance from his foster family.
He’s also a car companion, as long as he’s close to someone he trusts.
Moose needs a home where he can get plenty of love, attention, and the care he deserves. He’s looking for a family that understands his medical needs, can help him maintain a healthy weight, and provide lots of fun and affection. Meet Minnie! 🎀

Minnie is a sweet and spunky 5-year-old dachshund with the biggest heart and littlest legs! This pint-sized bundle of joy thrives in the company of other dogs and is looking for a forever home where she can have canine companions to share her days with.

Meet Holly Bee! She is a 14-week mini Bernadoodle! Holly was surrendered to us when she was seen by a vet and diagnosed with Congenital Glaucoma. We were told her eye would need to be removed. Of course, we didn't hesitate to step up and help this sweet girl!
Holly is a very friendly, happy, and energetic puppy. She walks pretty well on a leash and loves exploring. She is still working on potty training but does well with frequent potty breaks. Holly would do well in a home with or without another dog, but the other dogs need to be puppy-savvy dogs that don't mind her being in their faces. She loves toys, bones, and doing puzzles. Homes with children 5 and over are recommended.

Daisy; innocence, purity, new beginnings… what better name to bless a once used and abused commercial breeding mama ❤️‍🩹

Everyone meet Miss Daisy Poo. Daisy is a 3yr old(ish) Merle mini poodle weighing just under 12lbs and boy is she a stunner!!! With her beautiful Merle coloring and her ice blue eye she is sure to melt your heart. Daisy is still super duper shy and will require a very patient and understanding home.

Hi friends, it’s me Daisy. I’d like to start by telling you I’m still pretty fearful of the world. My life before rescue wasn’t great, I still hold a lot of trauma from that. My foster family is teaching me that not all people are mean and I trust them, but Im still super nervous. I will need a new family that is quiet and chill with very minimal commotion. Another furry sibling who is also calm and chill would be amazing. I love all my foster siblings, both canine and feline, but when my doggie friends get crazy, I’m not really about that life.

My foster mom says I am a Queen with the potty thing whatever that means. Maybe she is happy cause I never go inside. I’m also ok with a crate. Even though my foster mom tries to get me to sleep with her, Im still not ready for that so I sleep alone, peacefully in my crate.

Daisy has not had much practice on a leash, she will require a fenced in yard. This is NOT NEGOTIABLE! She is UTD on all vaccines and preventatives. She has also been spayed and had a full dental with a few extractions.

Lady is an adorable three year old furry Frenchie rescued from a commercial mill. While shy at first, Lady loves cuddles, playing with her toys, and playing with her fur siblings. We are working on leash training and she has made significant progress. She loves everyone: adults, kids, and other dogs, however she has not been cat tested. She feels safe when she is part of a pack and would do well with someone who works from home, or spends most of their day at home. She is around 85% potty-trained. Regression is normal and to be expected. She is a shedder and will need routine grooming and brushing. Lady does not like the crate but can be gated in a room and left alone. Since becoming a loved pet, Lady has learned how to go up and down the steps, how to jump up and down off the sofa, and has bonded with her foster sister. They go everywhere together. A mild-mannered fur sibling would be great, or she could be your one and only. She is one of the sweetest dogs and is anxiously waiting for her forever home. She has been spayed, microchipped, and UTD on vaccines and preventatives.

Have you thought about getting a dog for your dog? If so, we would like to introduce you to June Bug! June Bug is a 21lb, 4yr old mini Bernadoodle who was surrendered by her breeder with an injury to her right hind leg. She is now ready to find her forever home and four-legged companionship.

June Bug is a laid back girl who enjoys spending time on the couch with her person, but she also appreciates snuggling and following her foster sibling. She even loves snuggling with the cat! As June Bug adapts to being a house pet, she may exhibit shyness initially, but she warms up quickly. To avoid accidents it is crucial to establish a regular routine for taking her outside and patience is necessary as she likes to take her time going potty. A fenced-in yard would be ideal for June Bug.

💲5️⃣ Friday for the Sweet 16 saved yesterday! Our first intakes of 2025 include: 2 cavs, 2 gordon setters, 4 rottie bear babes - 3 of which have murmurs (some significant), 1 dreamy creamy golden , 1 mini poodle ,1 cavapoo , 1 mini aussie, 2 maltese, 2 chicken nuggets (mini golden doodle pups) - 1 needs a leg amputated.

Medical and basics for an intake this size comes at a great expense to the rescue. Your donations today, no matter the size help offset those expenses.

Introducing Marge! Marge is a two year old King Charles Cavalier Spaniel who is as sweet as can be. She came to us from a commercial breeder, however she has transitioned into a loving family pet wonderfully. She's an easy-going girl, and already housebroken and crate-trained! (Although regression with transition into a new environment is possible.) She is great with other dogs and kids, although she'd also be content to be your one and only. Marge loves to cuddle and attaches to companionship very easily. She enjoys walks and collecting her stuffy toys. Marge is spayed, microchipped, and UTD on vaccines and preventatives. Wow 2024! What a year! Lots of tears, smiles and lots of emotions, but TONS of lives saved.

We want to thank all of our supporters, donors, fosters, adopters, volunteers and partners! We had some majorly impressive stats this year thanks to everyone mentioned above!

Total saved for 2024 : 571 dogs

Breakdown:
92 shelter dogs
309 commercial breeder dogs
170 strays and owner surrenders

An additional 209 dogs went to rescue partners from commercial breeders that we assisted with! That's 779 dogs that are living better lives just this year!

Also fun fact, Zoes House Birthday is January 1st. We are 13 years old tomorrow!!! We have saved close to 5k animals at this point!!!

Thanks for an amazing 2024. We can't wait to see what 2025 brings! Be safe everyone. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Eli is looking for a home to love and be loved through his golden years! Eli lost his home when his owner passed away and he was taken to ACCT Philadelphia where he was not dealing with the shelter environment well. Zoe's stepped in and took him into foster care. He is a super-friendly, spunky little guy who has never met a stranger. Eli is a 12-year-old, approximately 20-pound Bichon mix. Everyone who meets him comments that he can't possibly be 12 years old because of his energy level. Eli is ready for his second act! He also has hearing loss. None of this stops him from enjoying life as a typical dog. Actually, it took his foster family a while to discover his impairment because of his ability to compensate for it. He follows cues around him. The biggest thing that one will notice with his hearing loss is that he does not hear his name being called or "no". He is eager to please and responds to hand claps and hand signals. It will only take a few prompts for him to realize that he is not supposed to do something, and then he will be very compliant. Eli wants nothing more than to please his family. He has been living in a foster home with large and small dogs, and he loves children. He enjoys stuffies, walks, playing fetch, and snuggles. He is crate-trained, but the crate is not his favorite place. He is housetrained. However, he benefits from being taken out regularly. Eli will need regular grooming. Hi, it's me again 👋🏻 My name is Sequoia, I'm a one year old German Shorthaired Pointer. Can you believe I'm still available for adoption!?!? Is it my three-legged status? Or maybe it's my tail? I bet it's because I lack the normal GSP coloring and favor white....whatever the reason may be, I hope someone will look again and apply to adopt me soon! I really want a family of my own.... Now don't get me wrong, my foster family is THE BEST ❤️ I have a human sister and furry siblings too, and I love them equally. They take me all sorts of fun places, on adventures, and tell me how good of a bird dog I am ALL THE TIME. Here's a few things I envision in my future family- 🔸️Fenced yard 🔸️Likes walking and being active 🔸️A friend for me to play with (that's around my size) 🔸️Bird dog experience and/or higher energy breed experience would be good 🔸️Toys, especially balls 🔸️Older "dog savvy" kids Here's a few things I could do without- ❌️Cats or small animals (I have a bit of a prey drive, or so they tell me) ❌️Small dogs ❌️A sedentary family I am crate trained and potty trained (although regression is normal in a new environment).
