My Savannah Banana is having trachea surgery Tuesday. I know her parents have given her the best care and the best doctor they could find, but it’s still heavy on my heart. I’m glad I got to see her today and wish I could have spent hours playing with her. Well wishes for an easy surgery and a quick recovery❤️

I snapped this picture mid spin! Sweet Pipey Pipes always brightens my day. She’s a nervous girl but she trusts me and I think she even likes me. Best feeling in the world when a nervous pup wags their tail when they see you!

These two boys come and see Bree on Fridays so I always get to play with them. Jax (left) is about as cute as they come. I always say his sidekick Beau is a bedlington incognito. Turns out they’re both cavapoos 🤷🏽‍♀️ Either way they were just as wonderful as I knew they would be!

These two boys were unimpressed with me today 😅. After Teddy’s bath (left) I sat and held him for a minute. BIG MISTAKE! He expected nothing less than couch cuddles the whole time! Meanwhile, his older brother Bentley was a complete champ! He’s definitely a seasoned pro! I enjoyed ending my day with these sweet boys ❤️

While Bree’s out I got the honor of working with Miss Pearl. She’s a Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier, and let me just tell you, they do not have a reputation for being easy to groom! They can be very “opinionated” about the whole process. Pearl isn’t, she is SO SWEET and SO HAPPY! I had a lot of fun working with this smart girl this morning. Her picture cracks me up though! She looks extra tough when she’s really a huge love bug 🥰🥰

This was my second visit with Finn and I was excited to practice new techniques I learned from our seminar we hosted earlier in the month. He is a Welsh Terrier that should be hand stripped, but I don’t offer handstripping. Instead he got a clipper cut with plenty of carding to remove his fuzzy coat and leave behind a coarse texture. He’s still a puppy, and I’m still rusty, but he is the perfect candidate for me to develop my craft. Finn is at the top of the dog napping list for me! (How adorable is he?!?!)

Oakley here has been an absolute gem so far!! She's only 5 months old and did amazing for her first big pup haircut! She's probably going to be a pretty big girl fully grown, but I can easily and happily handle it with how wonderful she is to work with! 🥰

This is Ferguson. Ferguson is still a puppy and he’s probably going to be HUGE based on how “big boned” he is. I’m /supposed/ to just be doing his puppy trims while Bree is on leave. I do not think I will be able to relinquish this big, squishy, sweet, well mannered pup when she gets back 😍😭😍😭

This was my last group of dogs before surgery tomorrow. I wanted to give a big thank you for all the well wishes and kind words that I have received over the past few months. It has been an eventful year and I am very grateful for my coworkers and my clients and the outpouring of love and support I have been given. It has been a pleasure and a privilege working with everyone and I’m excited to return in a few weeks! I hope everyone has a great summer and I’ll see you all soon! ❤️🥰 -Bree

This is my BESTIE Roco!! He is a BIG BOI and he is so much fun! His owners found me from my last grooming job and I was so happy and honored that they brought him to see me again! Needless to say this boy was spoiled by me from start to finish! He’s the happiest guy with the biggest smile and its contagious! All of us had a great time with him today! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
