These two chonky gents are Saint & Sylvester. They are best buds, and they are in a bit of a pickle. A very persistent neighbor is threatening them, and they need to be relocated. Their feeder is a renter so there is not much she can do. She did try bringing them inside and they were miserable. They are happy outdoor feral cats, and both have been fixed. We are looking for a nice barn home for them. They are a really cute addition for the right situation. Thank you!

Well, we tried! We have this adventurous kitten Beans in foster care who keeps trying to get out of the house… so we were trying to think of ways to provide more enrichment. But in spite of getting her used to both the stroller and the harness at home, she wasn’t thrilled about her ride in the park. Please share so perhaps we can find her a home with a catio, or with pet parents who might like to take her out in the garden on a harness and leash. In the meantime, she is being outfitted with an AirTag in case of an escape, and we’ll be watching her like a hawk and trying to keep her happy. As well as being adventurous and independent, Beans is also super friendly and a real snuggle bug.

Have you been tempted by the idea of fostering cats or kittens?
Our group does not have a lot of foster homes. This is partly deliberate, because each foster home requires and deserves hands-on attention and support from senior members of our team. But we “supervisors” are all volunteers too, with other jobs… so we tend to run on the small side, in order to do right by every foster home and every cat.

But at this time, we are in need of a couple of new foster homes to round out our cat rescue that has been saving New Jersey cats for over 30 years!

Update: We would like to extend a gigantic thank you to everyone who donated to this fundraiser. We would desperately like to thank all of you individually, but this platform makes finding the list of donors like finding a needle in a haystack. Right now everything is coming up as Anonymous. Maybe we will be able to find more information soon. In the meantime, please know that you are wholeheartedly appreciated.

Our rescue is facing financial difficulties, due to inflation and vet bills. It has never been worse in all of our thirty-plus years. If you can spare even five dollars- that's a High-Five!!

Looking for a temporary foster home for this sweet, gentle, low maintenance 3-legged beauty while her current PAN foster mom has surgery. She is about five years old, and also available for adoption. They were friendly at home, but they are terrified (not aggressive) at the shelter. Meet Lollipop and Rainbow. They are 6 year old sisters who live in an alley. The business is being sold and torn down. They need to be re-located as soon as possible. They have been spayed and shots will be updated. Some people can pet them so they may be able to transition to living indoors. We are trying to determine that.
