As another hunting season comes to an end we just want to say thank you to all of our customers, employees and anyone who helped us this year. We are truly blessed to be able to do what we love and meet so many good people who we call friends. We will be working to get the remaining deer meat finished up asap and ask that if you have any ready to pick up please do as soon as possible. We look forward to getting started on taxidermy work and seeing some of you again soon when the mounts are ready. Thank You!!

If you have a skull in the freezer and were planning on bringing for a euro please bring by tomorrow night. We will be working on the last ones Tuesday and will not be accepting any after that for euros until next season. Thank you!

We want to make everyone aware this weekend will be a mandatory CWD sampling weekend. Any deer brought in will be required to be sampled. Each hunter that submits a sample from the CWD management zone will receive an additional buck tag for each sample with a limit of 2 per hunter. Conservation officers will be here from 8am-7pm on both days if you have any questions. Thank you for your cooperation in helping with this activity and we look forward to seeing everyone. We’ve had several calls and messages asking if we are accepting mounts and the answer is YES!! We are accepting meat and mounts from everyone (existing and new customers). The only change we have made is we will not be doing fish until further notice. We are looking forward to seeing everyone and hope everyone has a safe and successful season!!

Last deer of the 23-24 season mounted up today. Ahead of schedule!! Josh Inman started working with us last November and has been a great addition to the shop and the reason we are ahead of schedule. He has worked hard this spring and summer to improve his skills and it shows and it’s only going to get better. If you have anything in the freezer that you are wanting done now would be a good time to get it here before the racks fill back up. We appreciate everyone that continues to support us!!!

We have been having a tougher time than usual with mounts being picked up this year. We have so many great customers that support us and our families and we understand that things are tight with the current economy but we do this for a living and expect to get paid when the job is completed just as everyone else with a job does. We also do not have the room to store extra mounts for a long period of time which becomes an issue. We have always been more than willing to work with anyone that communicates with us on issues and needs more time. We have never required a deposit for existing customers and don’t want to have to go to that but it may anyway so please help us by picking up your completed mounts in a timely manner. Thank you

Another first today. It’s called a Markhor. They are native to Asia but was harvested as an exotic in Texas. Really cool looking animal. Will be displayed at Happy Hollow Outdoors along with many other critters soon
