Help us get ready for 4th of July! Fireworks may be beautiful, but they are terrifying for animals. Our shelter animals are hit hardest, stuck in their kennels while they think the world is ending. We would love for our shelter dogs to spend this scary weekend in the comfort of a home! Interested in fostering a dog for the holiday weekend? Call or visit the shelter today to borrow a dog and help them relax through the holidays!

We are gearing up for the large influx of large animals we are sure to see July 5th. Please make sure we can get your pet back home to you! Fireworks are scary enough to pets without them ending up in the shelter. We also have a few personalized tags left we can give out.

The shelter is open 11am-5pm Monday- Friday, and 1-5pm Saturday- Sunday for you to get your pet microchipped!

We are so excited for California Adopt A Pet Day! We will have over 130 animals available to adopt at no cost for this special, statewide adoption event. That means only 4 more days until FREE ADOPTIONS! A huge thank you to the ASPCA, SF SPCA and CalAnimals for sponsoring this event.

We will even be open extra hours! Join us 8am -5pm Saturday so you will have plenty of time to find the perfect pet for your family. We have dogs and cats of all ages just waiting to go home with you. Don’t miss this chance to take one home!

PEACHES IS HANGING ON FOR DEAR LIFE! SHE IS BEYOND URGENT 😭 POOR PEACHES IS A BABY AND SHE HAS BEEN IN THE CRITCALLY FULL SHELTER FOR 5 MONTHS 😭PLEASE SHARE PEACHES, SHE REALLY REALLY NEEDS US!

Peaches could sure use a break, foster for decompression or ultimately adoption. Anything to help this baby get to live the life she deserves. She needs some love first and secondly someone to teach her some basics.

Poor Peaches is declining, she is stressed out and skinny, it's just too much in the overcrowded shelter. Peaches does know the basics she is ok on leash, sits and comes. But she is so over excited she jumps and dances in excitement when she gets any attention at all, poor baby girl. She just wants someone to show her love. I know that after just a few days she will relax and show you what a sweet girl she is. She had a home that failed her at some point so probably has some house manners (she doesn't p**p in her up front enclosure) She will be one of the forever grateful ones who just knows how lucky she is. Can someone show Peaches that there is a good life outside of the Shelter?

Peaches is good with other dogs, has tested nuetral in the cat room (doesn't mean she won't chase) and loves all people. When excited she jumps and dances so small children may get knocked over.

Sweet Peaches is a spayed Pitbull terrier mix. She is approx 1 year old and maybe 35ish pounds. She is utd on vaccines and hw negative. HER ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN SPONSORED❤️

The Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians, through the Paskenta Nomlaki Foundation, will host an on-site adoption event at the Tehama County Animal Care Center, 1830 Walnut St in Red Bluff, and WILL BE COVERING ADOPTION COSTS!!

The Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians, through the Paskenta Nomlaki Foundation, announced that it will host an adopt a pet event on Friday,

The foundation will host an on-site adoption event at the Tehama County Animal Care Center and will be covering adoption costs from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Families can view the various animals available for adoption, select a pet care package suitable for all animals, and receive a free adoption photoshoot.

The Tehama County Animal Care Center is located at 1830 Walnut Street, Red Bluff.

The Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians owns Rolling Hills Casino & Resort, which includes the Casino, three restaurants, two conference centers, a Brewery & Distillery, RV Park and Travel Center, The Equestrian Center at Rolling Hills and The Links at Rolling Hills Golf Course.

The Paskenta Nomlaki Foundation donates hundreds of thousands of dollars to community organizations yearly, with over $9 million donated to benefit local health, safety and education programs.
