If you have a chance to rescue or surrender a pig or piggies from or to a rescue, even if it’s a little bit of a drive, please do that. You can check to see if the rescue has transport options!

It's so important to research the rescue first before you adopt or surrender Some claim to be rescues but are also breeding. I believe one organization can't claim to be a rescue while intentionally bringing more guinea pigs into the world when SO MANY who need homes are already here. It’s just not right.

There are so many people still breeding and not understanding that guinea pigs are being overbred. We have over 130 guinea pigs at all times, some sanctuary, and quite a few older guinea pigs that nobody wants to adopt because of their age.

Every time somebody adopts, it helps us clear up space to take more in.
We have reasonable adoption fees, and every penny of the adoption fee goes back to taking care of all the other piggies in our care.

We have anywhere between 40 to 60 surrenders a month, sometimes more, such as when we help with a hoarding situation.

My name is Jolene. I am the one that you talk to when you message or call. I am the one who answers all your questions. I am the one who helps with the adoption process.
I am the one who posts things to the page.
As you can see, I have a lot of responsibility.

Running the rescue can get overwhelming, especially trying to generate the donations needed to keep all these piggies healthy and happy.

Here is another reason donations are so important
We had 25 surrenders and 15 babies in the month march we had to close to surrenders because we are full and the lack of cash donations
It is rough to turn Piggies away, but if we don’t have enough cash donations, we cannot take care of the Piggies properly and it’s scary to even think what might happen to them if they can’t come to us
So please donate what you can when you can. It is very important so we can keep saving. 
And don’t forget we have our 501(c)(3) so you can write it all off at the end of the year so please help us keep going

This status will benefit the organization in so many ways. We'll be able to accept tax-deductible donations.
Achieving this status solidifies our credibility as a true rescue !

We are in need of cash donations!

Saving piggies can be a challenging yet rewarding endeavor. I invest all my efforts in rescuing as many pigs as possible, but I cannot do it alone. Your assistance is crucial to continue this mission and make a difference.

I want more than anything to continue doing this, but donations are down, and I'm struggling with how to increase them.

We need donations to take care of these wonderful animals. That is for food, veggies,hay,bedding, and vet care. Many piggies come to us with health issues such as respiratory illness, parasites, infections, and bumblefoot.
It feels good when I can get them better and get them adopted out

Here are some of the baby boys that are ready for adoption❤️

All these boys are heading to South Dakota today four of them are 3+years There will also be a Baby Girl heading that way today too 

Four more babies born today that brings us up to 20 babies still have two pregnant mamas 

Lots of cute babies and beautiful moms Babies are not ready for adoption. I just thought I would share how they are doing  We are up to nine babies with seven more mamas still pregnant 

And here are five more out of the 14 that are on pregnancy watch which as you can see look pretty pregnant too
