Its Friday which closes out our clinics Vet Tech week. Our last 2 technicians to share with you are........

Aliza (left) Is one of our Certified Verterinay Technicians. She graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at RCTC in 2020 and has been a part of our team since. Aliza enjoys a little bit of everything in this line of work but she spends a majority of her time in the surgery suite caring for surgical patients. Catheter placement is a favorite of hers and she genuinely loves the patient care portion of her job. Aliza finds comfort in 'Booping" every nose that is with in her arms reach.
Her favorite animal is the Giraffe. When not at work you will likely find Aliza on a Hike with her personal k9 crew, Reading a good book or planning her next adventure to fullfill her love of Travel.

Ashley (right) is one of our veterinary technicians and she has been with us since 2022 and has been a technician for 8 years. Ashley is currently working on her schooling to become a credentialed technician. Ashley enjoys working with fiesty cats, client education and cozy cuddles with our patients. Her favorite animals are turtles and cats (owns 2 Rascal and Bagel). During Ashleys days away from work she enjoys hiking, reading, cuddling her cats and spending time with her family and friends.

Day 4 of National Veterinary Technician week.

Gina (left) has been a technician here at black dog since 2019. The parts of her tech role she enjoys most is practicing proper and safe restraint of our patients and working with dog behavior and cat behavior. Her favorite animal is the dog. On her days off she will be enjoying absorbing all the vitiman D she can along with playing with her dogs and doing kid chores.

Amanda (right) is one of our Certiefied Veterinary Technicians and she graduated from Argosy University in 2018. What Amanda enjoys most during her work day is dentistry, you will find her back in the treatment area scaling most of our dental patients teeth. Her favorite animals are whales, she feels those are her spirit animals. Amanda enjoys reading and playing sims on her off time.

Please give a warm appreciation for these 2 technicians today.

Day 3 here at the clinic of National Vet Tech Week. Today we have the honor of putting Sam, Laura and Alyssa on display.

Sam (left) has been at BDAH for a shorter time, but has enjoyed being a technician since 2011. She graduated from MN School of Business and what she enjoys most about tech work is doing blood draws and the dirty work. Her favorite animals are sweet pitbulls and sloths. You will find Sam enjoying anything outdoors with her kids and family.

Laura (middle) has been with us here at BDAH since 2021, she graduated from Argosy University in 2017. Laura enjoys blood draws especially jugular draws and lab work. Her non favorite animal are birds, she does love Golden Retrievers, which she owns 2, and chipmunks make her smile. You will find Laura enjoying reading books, putting together puzzles and walking her dogs with her husband.

Alyssa (right) is one of our Certified Veterinary Technicians and she joined us at BDAH in 2022 after she graduated from RCTC. What Alyssa enjoys most about her days as a CVT are blood draws and cat nail trims. She mostly loves her baby kitten appointments. Her long list of favorite animals are......cats (she has 3), bunnies (she has 1), cows (plenty), and sharks (owns none). On her off time you would find her waterskiing, playing with her many pets and riding on her side by side with her boo.

celebrity pop up today is our clinic cat, Alfred Pennysworth..... He's dressed in his best tux today. He still enjys laying in the sun, seeking any ounce of whip cream he can find to eat, and tolerates the love from the staff when they need him.

Happy Tuesday, today we have our technicians Heidi, Cheryl and Jamie

Heidi on the left has been a technician here at BDAH since 2021, she graduated from Argosy University in 2008. She enjoys Blood draws and blood work in the lab. Her favorite animal is her Frenchie/Boston mix Ollie and cats which she also has at home. On her days off you find her chasing her children around and trying to enjoy some relaxation time.

Cheryl (middle), you may find her greeting you when you walk in the doors, she went to tech school 44years ago and loves helping the owners with information about their pets. Cheryl has found herself in the office manager postion while adding a sprinkle of tech work when she is able. Her favorite animal is any dog that gets her off the couch. On her off time you will find her playing tennis, golfing, biking, skiing, or pretty much anything outdoors.

Jamie (right), graduated from MN School of Business as a Certified Veterinary Technician 18 years ago as well as being our lead Customer Service Agent here at BDAH. She enjoys being able to multitask between helping our clients and patients at the front desk and helping with blood draws and IV catheters in the back treatment area when she can. Her favorite animals are baby kittens. You will find Jamie on her days off trying to enjoy some relaxation time along with spending time outdoors.

In honor of National Vet Tech Week, we are starting off our Monday with Kayla and Nikki....along with our friend Bear.

Kayla on the left has been a tehnician with BDAH for 7 years, her favorite part of technician work is client education. Her favorite animals are goats, cows and dogs. On her off time you will find her chasing her toddler around and helping her husband with farm work.

Nikki on the right has been a technician with BDAH for just a short 4 months, she completed her schooling at RCTC and is studying for her certification test currently. Her favorite part of technician work is getting to connect with owners and their pets. Her favorite animals are german shepherds (she is holding her own) and cats which she has 3 of them. On her off time you will find her hiking, reading and hanging out by the campfire.
