Hello to everyone! ShearJoy Pet Resort has some exciting news to share. In September, Sherri officially retired and has passed her passion on to us. We are the proud new owners, Pat and Jodi Myers, and are absolutely thrilled to step in and continue the legacy of Sherri’s love for dogs! We live in the home on the property and are open for all your dog boarding needs. We are lifelong avid pet lovers and promise to love and care for your fur babies as if they were our own. We have several convenient ways for you to book a stay with us.

To all of my wonderful customers through the years,

Starting December 23rd I will no longer be grooming. Besides my back, shoulders and neck hurting and feeling strained, It is time for me to retire and spend more time with my grandchildren. We will still be boarding! But to those that I just groom, I will forever be grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of your’s and your dog’s life for many years.

What matters is that you don’t take the choice away from another owner (and their dog) as to who they interact with.

There can be so many reasons why a dog and their owner need space from you and your dog.
