He is a 15 hand golden puppy dog personality with movement and conformation to drool over. Solid bone, Solid hooves, Solid mind. He has been worked with extensively for ground manners and behavior. He has been ridden walk, trot and canter. He is a very very well started baby. This gelding was out on trail with his dam since he was a month old. He has been taken to new barns, new pastures. He is already a full 15 hands and growing. His sister is now one of our keeper mares. So you can meet and see two full sibs and get a good idea how Sorcha will turn out! At California Haflingers it is HOT outside. So once I am done with working its time to share our golden beauties with everyone! Right now three of our haflinger ambassadors are at Woodside Junior Riders teaching the lucky children how to ride, saddle, bridle and enjoy being around horses. We have five yearlings who are growing and learning and romping on our irrigated pastures. We flood irrigate every two weeks so they have WATER to play, run and roll in. Mira is my driving buddy. Sky's the Limit still has two mares on the "books" for breeding. Nordwind is done for the year and is on turn out with the mare and foal herd. Our three 2024 foals are nursing and growing along with our two llama crias and their moms.

Are you looking for a one of a kind horse? Meet Roxanne. She is a 3/4 haflinger 1/4 arabian who is colored somewhere between a golden palomino and a buttermilk buckskin. She has chocolate hairs in her white mane and tail, chocolate dipped pasterns (in the photos that is NOT mud) and a golden body. SO ADORABLE!!! Roxy has the laid back attitude of the haflinger. She is going to be between 14-14.2 hands. She will have the lovely natural canter of her dam and her sure footed ability to go anywhere. Roxy is already showing how smart and willing her grown up self will be. She is a natural leader and pretty darn laid back about anything new. She likes humans so likes to learn what we teach her. Since her dam is bay and the haflinger breed has no creme gene involved I am not sure where the unique markings come from but OMG they are adorable. all the yearling training is good. lead, tie, trim, bath, lunge, load. 38xx gets her in your barn ready to start in the spring.

He will be 15.1-15.2 hands when grown (61-62") He is out of our therapy mare Liberty and by Sky's the Limit so he has a solid mind, solid hooves and solid body. He will be a 1250 # plus horse when grown. and have a puppy dog personality. First yearling to meet you anywhere, anytime. He likes humans. Stately's last son Ditto. This adorable yearling gelding has it all going on. He will be a 14 to 14.1 hand haflinger when grown. His sire and dam are both extremely friendly and solid minded haflingers. Ditto has all the yearling training. Lead, load, tie, lunge and enjoy being handled. He is out growing with the other geldings learning herd manners, walking on uneven ground, playing in irrigation water and being a good boy. He is looking for a family who will love teaching him to be a member of their "herd". Ditto was imprinted at birth, has had his hooves trimmed while growing and is fully vaccinated. Mirata YES, 10 year old Sternwachter daughter. She rides and drives. A very very nice mare to drive. She knows how to listen to voice or lines. Riding she is a nice arena mare who has a soft mouth and listens. Trail, she needs more time and confidence. Good if in a group. Most all Mira's time has been either single or team driving while with me. We have ridden her but just to keep her up to date on those skills. Big mare at 15 hands. modern build. gorgeous head and neck. She will get you noticed. Mira needs to be kept in shoes. She is slightly toed in. just enough that she is VERY comfortable as she has that swing which eliminates most of the bounce of a trot (think peruvian paso) but since she wears her front feet uneven she needs shoes. Mira has had VERY limited time in a herd during her life. She is not a good candidate as a pasture horse. We have tried and if she is in with submissive herd mates she is ok. She doesn't understand getting pushed around and she just doesn't seem to want to understand. Great as a stall horse. That she understands. Clean and neat stall manners. This mare is a steal as we have her a mid/high four figures even with all the training that she has had and her pure Austrian bloodlines.

3 year old gelding. 14.1 and growing. a bit behind high right now. He is a dream to be around. Ace is a meet you are the gate horse. He has a willing and kind personality. Ace won't be your get up and go horse but he is also not lazy. He is just a nice moving boy with a want to learn attitude. currently mid/high four figures. Ace rides in a snaffle and takes a normal tree saddle. good withers, strong hooves and vet checks welcome!

Parade or event wagon.. We have used this wagon in Pumpkin patches, Cancer rides, Christmas Parades and just fun times hauling folks around our neighborhood caroling. It is ready for someone else to enjoy! Comes with a team pole, is set up for lights. has hydraulic brakes (will need to be checked out since it hasn't moved in a bit) one eight zero zero. message me if interested. So just as we have done for the last 7 years the Haflingers Coppertone and C-Lightning pulled the Authentic World War ammunition carts in the Shasta Lake city Veterans Parade. I is always a privilege getting our haflingers to follow in their ancestors hoofsteps since this was one TRUE way our breed assisted in the world wars.

We have a lovely 14.2 hand two year old GELDING that is just started under saddle. He is riding well and is an open book. He wants to keep learning and is going to make a true all around gelding who eventually carry anyone. He has zero issues. Will need to continue learning and growing! Ace is a true gem. Red has found a wonderful new family to enjoy!!

His name is Red (registered name MOUNTAINEER JACK DTR).
He is a SERIOUSLY tried and true trail horse. He will carry kids, husbands, wives, timid or first time riders. Red has done it all. His owners were active in Backcountry Horseman. They ride and pack. He has been in numerous states traveling the trails.
What Red is not is a fast or even semi fast arena horse. If you want a horse to go round and round in an arena this would not make him or you happy. He LOVES trail. Streams, elk, deer, quail, dogs along for the ride, high cliffs,, wide open valleys he loves it all. He is VERY willing to pack around grandkids for the fun of it. That he does just fine in the yard, round pen or being ponied on trail. I have TONS of photos showing him out and about. He comes with his bridle, bit, halter, lead and feed bucket. He is 20 years young and FULLY sound. vet exams welcome. He is up to date on teeth, vaccines, deworming and hooves. This boy has been truly taken care of. His riders knees are simply not up to riding any longer. His family wants the best for Red so please contact us and let us know about you and what your searching for!
