Chaffhaye is a product that also can be fed to the haflinger successfully. It is low low sugar. Tested often and is easy for them to chew. It provides extra bacteria for digestion and is w**d free for trail riding purposes.

One of the most common questions we are asked about the haflingers are "what do you feed?" The basic needs of a hafy are met with LOW SUGAR grass hay. There are many grass hays that meet this need. Teff, Timothy, Blue Grass are the best. Some Meadow grass, some Orchard and some Sudan all meet the LOW SUGAR requirements. Now the answer to WHY LOW SUGAR? Because the haflinger breed is normally an easy keeping breed. That means they get fat easily!!! If you offer a low sugar hay is helps keep the threat of founder down and colic down and allows you to feed an normal amount (weight wise) of hay to keep their belly full and metal state content.

Please say hello to all our foals that are getting big! ages 3-6 months and 3 of them are weaned as of last week. the two may foals are still on mom's sides but they are getting a chance to act like big girls and boys.

This is the introduction day for www.topolinefarm.com weanlings learning about scary objects. haflinger foals are so fun to play with!! the foals are Skyper TLF(Anita x Sky's the Limit WSF) Cupie Pie (Chance OOS x Sky's the Limit WSF) Samurai's Ninja (Arnak NTF x Samuria of Green Mountains) Sky's Teddy Bear (Coppertone Le-La x Sky's the Limit WSF) and Soloman (Quelle Belle TOF x Samurai of Green Mountains) The lovely mare Anita comes from Brenda Jean Villeneuve and is one of the steadiest mares on the ranch! The stars of the day were Skyper and Cupie. those two will be easy to train! We will see how they all are after a couple of weeks of desensitization training! Thanks to Deona Madsen and Cody Vincent for their assistance! We have foals to trained haflingers for sale at all times. Imprinting and training done on a consistent basis.

Whisper TLF, born 2011, this young gelding is well handled and starting under saddle. First rides are completed. He will be continuing on in training. LOVELY mind and movement. Whisper is out of the imported mare Parola Wulf (Sassico daughter) and by our Silver Classified stallion World Class (son of Walzertakt). Great bloodlines, great mind, fantastic conformation.. Barefoot and sound.
